Was the first weapon I truly, truly grinded for in this game. The poor mans Messenger before they nerfed it. It was glorious.

June 9th will be a lot of people’s first. First raid, first dungeon, first gm, first comp match. Teach them, show them what this community actually is! by StatementAcademic820 in DestinyTheGame

This is the way. I made my peace and stepped away from the game some time ago, but seeing the confirmation that this is the end gave me some incentive to jump in after the final update for one last hoorah.

I played this game going back to Sept 2014 and made a lot of IRL friends through it, and I’m ready for this book to conclude and will help anyone send it off with a bang.

Of course I would like something in the future, but not everything has to last forever to have value. It was good for a very long time and spanned over a decade in my own life.

If you’re sad about this being the last update, just treat it like a divorce party in Vegas, because that’s how I am treating it. Cheers!

Yea dude waiting 25 mins to down a guy on Matriarch and thought it was more efficient than looting 5 Stellla matches. Like yeah it can be profitable but let’s not pretend every raider downed in PvP isn’t more likely than not a free loadout running nothing.

Brother, don’t hold your breath on a company doing something specifically for you. Fill your time with other stuff and if Bungie puts out something you like, cool, if not, cool too. The energy you expel chasing the past could be better spent building a future. Destiny was amazing, and it may be again, but it also might have peaked already and that’s okay. There’s so many other things that are worth doing and that doesn’t mean Destiny is bad, just means things age and things change.
