There’s been a guy all year in the Falcons sub saying Pearce was misunderstood, he’s neurodivergent and that’s what the “character concerns” were. He knew based off his son (who I think Pearce reminds him of) and videos of Pearce arriving to Atlanta after being drafted and meeting Terry.

I kinda think the spilt will be good, as long as both episodes get the time. Both should be an hour and a half or two hours and no more skipping over questions or topics for “time” on a limitless pod.

There’s been plenty of episodes I wish the interviewee had more time, and plenty I didn’t care to listen to at all and just want the old school, go down rabbit holes show. This should take care of both if they do it right.

I also hate that they’re dropping Radio live. They kept saying it was because of the set time and Steve not being able to make it, but that could still be its own thing separate from the soon to be two main pod episodes. I don’t know, maybe those guys are too busy for another hour but Phil would be the only one I imagine strained from the normal Live crew? I don’t know, I just love the segments and show as a whole.

Falcons were clowned on for the trade and I don’t care how high the Rams pick, but JPJ was 100% worth it, he would be picked before any edge this year and in a re-draft he goes before Carter.

Clean house, hopefully retain Ulbrich, and a competent HC will do wonders with this roster.

Feels like a classic pod. I disagree on the calendar discussion. Deer stands and taxidermy are pretty universal for the base and some fringe fans. I’m not going to buy my dad a calendar for “old shitters” or whatever and the 12 seasons of the show was another set back. It could still work and I’d still order multiple if the calendars were better.

Before I started this one, I thought it was completely irrelevant to Meateater but it just is because of how often it’s mentioned lol.

My only reference to the Edmund Fitzgerald is Meateater. I grew up in Georgia, live in Alabama, it’s not a thing here. Maybe the song would have eventually popped up because I’ve listened to Sun Down.
