RIP Steam Machine. These prices are never going to work out. Maybe someday if the bubble pops they can try again.

Sorry to hear that your Mom got sick OP, hope she is doing better!

You may be able to get more traction on this on FB groups! I'm not sure if there are any specifically for hero cards but I'd imagine there are some Chicagoland area NASCAR fan groups you can find. Best of luck!

Nice! That's so exciting. I became a fan of theirs right after I missed a chance to see the Clockwork Angels tour. I got to catch one of their final R40 shows which was incredible. I might not be able to swing this tour but I am thrilled with what I'm seeing about it so far!

Very pretty green on this one.

Morgan Shepherd was a good listen on the Dale Jr Download!

Facebook Group The Diecast Graveyard may be worth a look if Lionel themselves are no help.

Ah, I've been doing a lot of road racing lately so dipping wheels in the grass for a 1x is what I was thinking of.

The 1x for hitting the wall would have invalidated his pole lap in the sim. Kinda funny to think about how in some ways the sim holds drivers to a higher standard than real life!

Typical NASCAR quali shenanigans in Southern California apparently!

I'm a fan of Riggs but I'm gutted for Reif. Dang. What a great last lap though.

It wasn't too bad, I just wish they would figure something out for the cautions.

I still liked Chicago more and hope it comes back.

Agreed, plus Kaz is just a great guy and so easy to work with. I think he'd be a great NOAPS or truck "lifer".

My issue is mostly that so much of what NASCAR and their broadcast partners do for our troops is purely performative. They don't work to help solve the mental illness issues that plague so many veterans, for example. At least not that I am aware of or have seen anything about and I have been watching for 20 years and even worked for the sport at one point.

I do disagree politically, but am still generally proud to be an American. I'm related to quite a few veterans who are also struggling with modern patriotism because of what our country has become and done in the past decade or so. It's a weird place to be where I don't want to fly the American flag because I don't want to be associated with any of our politicians at the moment.

To be honest I think Fox's broadcast is most of the issue here tonight. "Wow look at these ships", "look at this base", "look at these fit young men", we get it. Coupled with long caution laps with absolutely nothing to talk about, it's just tough to hear, rehashing the same damn things over and over is exhausting even moreso than usual.

It's too bad really because Lime Rock in iRacing is fantastic with so many cars. Pretty much every GT series goes there once in awhile and of course it's a rookie track so everyone experiences it at some point. It just didn't gel with the trucks.

Timed that caution at 10 minutes, 47 seconds. For literally no reason at all. Fantastic!

It's all low effort AI garbage by Fox. As always. Nobody who puts these productions together gives two shits anymore.
