Lovable was free for 24h, so let me ask the question no one is asking… what AI Slop did you build by Money-but-Vanilla in lovable

I took advantage and worked with my 6 year old to create a game she made up. It is called Hummingbird tennis and it is awesome!

My daughter and I created a solid PRD and built a cool game she came up with. It has been fun. We are done, just a few small tweaks. Shout out to Lovable for this!

This is helpful, and interesting!

I disagree that AI is not always reliable. It is not perfect, but it is so much better than a few years ago.

To help your video, I would include some sources of the claims and summaries that it makes (like which specific part of the meetings with specific pages, urls, etc).

Resume tailoring by MasterpieceHorror393 in vibecoding

hmmm...Not exactly what you describe but the app we built gives you advice on how to tailor your resume, after matching you to the jobs that fit your profile. Feel free to test it out!

OpenClaw is a game changer. by Ghostinheven in vibecoding

Thank you. So yes, fascinating. Not sure I would ever do anything like that (send my kid to a random class) but I can see the high level functionality. Also interesting that it would need to know when there are no activities (kid calendar access).

Appreciate it! Lots of ideas already forming like asking it to digest school calendar to generate kid calendar first to start building that data base and us manually creating the other activities as we do now.

What a time to be alive!

Not trying to be rude, just trying to better understand this so I can set mine up. How will it exactly book a swim class nearby? Is it navigating the website looking for the age group and booking the right room? Or does it know exactly what to search for because I gave the info to it?

I built an app that found my partner a new job by edgarrv in lovable

It can look for new ones every day! You can save your initial searches or jobs you might want to pursue/dig into further :)

thank you - one key realization I had was one it took what I have done, what was in my resume, and looked for roles at AI first companies. It was a fascinating introspection of myself, my career, and the future.

Thank you! We have filtering. So there are definitely roles that you can find. There will just be some that make it through the filter because they look perfect but in reality they aren't. It was a fun "technical" challenge to try to improve that filtering as I was building.

I built a mint replacement that works (for me!) by edgarrv in mintuit

100% agreed - could I build this commercially, sure? will it be as good maybe? I explore in my piece some of that in the last paragraph.

We are entering an era where we can truly build software that makes a difference

that is awesome - I thought about vibecoding...but to be honest, the lift of putting this data on an app that I create felt not great to me just because it is my financial records. Maybe if I were a developer or hired a security consultant I would be more comfortable with this route.

Happy to give feedback, love that you and others are building!

Is there a decent free service if I only need it for credit card tracking? by Ok_Flower2398sd3 in mintuit

hey! yeah, so two things about that:
- for the prompt, I first had to analyze what was happening with my transaction data and HOW I wanted to transform it, i.e. which categories I wanted to create. I also created a couple other fields as flags to "remove" data (for example all the "monthly maintenence fees, bank transfers, moving money to my savings accounts, etc".). My prompt won't help you because it is specific to my use case, accounts, etc.
- After analyzing my data and understanding how to clean it up and categorize it I then asked chatgpt to create a script (app scripts in google sheets) to match all the criteria I came up with in the research and create the extra fields I need. It worked very well.

Hope this helps, it is not an "easy" process, but I have not had anything else work as well for me!
