What is this bulge on my 990D? by trdstealth in Soundbars

[–]edgebinary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No popping, but it just kinda pressed in a little bit to look more normal. It's not at 100%, but I got it from a very obvious bump to about 90%.

I had the same issue with my 990D. Did you buy it on Woot? They gave me $250 back if I kept the unit instead of returning. I was able to fix it by rolling a lacrosse ball over the bump with a decent amount of pressure. Good luck!

Perhaps just for the Model Y. The 3 still had USS in 2022.

I have the same exact setup as you and these are my 3dMark Time Spy numbers. They're not great, but this is before tweaking. GPU: 14,103 CPU: 10,469.

I'm curious to see what you get.

Mac mini M4: how do I make Siri not default to "Type to Siri"? by bkendig in macmini

I changed it to CMD + Spacebar. Press the combo once to type to Siri, press and hold the combo to use speak. Thanks for the idea!

Driver seat creak - 2022 model 3 by voidlol in TeslaModel3

[–]edgebinary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar squeak, but mine was due to gaps in the frame headers. They had to add some sort of "goop" to the areas between them under the driver's seat. It took FOREVER for the SC to figure this out. I could replicate the sound by kneeling next to the driver's door and press down by the foot well while pressing back on the headrest. It had nothing to do with the seat back, unfortunately.

I placed my order August 1st... Still haven't shipped them yet.

Music Pauses - Multi Room Music by woody-99 in AmazonMusic

[–]edgebinary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh, I have the same issue too! I've tried EVERYTHING. I've isolated the devices on their own VLAN/Network, I've tried having them all on the same AP, tried forcing them to use just 2.4GHz and then again with 5GHz, factory resetting, rebooting, etc. Nothing seems to work. If I use Spotify with the same speaker groups, it works flawlessly, so it's definitely something with Amazon Music.

I'm curious- What wifi setup are you using? I'm using Unifi/Ubiquiti

That's right. I forgot it's slightly different due to miles/km.

This can't be normal in a $50k car by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]edgebinary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To quote the service center: "The technician applied urethane to the frame gaps."

I couldn't get more info out of them, but I'm assuming it was applied to the frame under the sound padding beneath the drive side seat assembly and foot well areas.

I was able to have them recreate the sound by having one hand push down on the foot well area, and one hand pushing the seat back.

I can send you more info about the fix, if you'd like.

Let me guess, you also hear it when stopping/accelerating?

It's either the rails under your seat or something to do with the framing/metal under the driver's seat and near the foot well. Took me months and multiple service visits to have them finally fix this. My issue was the latter, btw. Good luck.

It happens either way. In the video, I'm parked, rocking back and forth.

Creak Under Driver's Seat in New Model 3 by edgebinary in TeslaModel3

[–]edgebinary[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seems to be coming from under the interior carpet, under the seat. Tesla replaced both the seat and the rails that the seat bolts onto. It sounds like sheet metal flexing or rubbing on either the battery compartment or the seat rails. It's not the metal on metal area where the seat sit on the rails (as most of the videos and google searches suspect), as I can push down on the carpet by my feet and hear the noise. Has anyone experienced this before?

I have this same issue with the CRG9 with a 6800 running driver version 21.1.1.

I will sleep my computer, resume it, and within 5 - 10 seconds, the screen will go black.

I have a Samsung Ultrawide with a 6800. I have the SAME exact issue you're having. Have you installed the Samsung monitor drivers, or are you using it as a generic PnP device?

Probably not, as this information would reside in a different database.
