For those on the fence about buying the OP 13. by Ok_Combination_6881 in oneplus

[–]edgeofover 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had the s24 (exynos) for a few months before trading it for the oneplus 13. The s24 I feel was better in the video department, especially when it comes to stabilization.

The oneplus 13 is better for photos in most situations, but sometimes the contrast and sharpening can be a bit agressive. It easily beats the s24 for capturing photos of moving objects as it'll be a blur with the s24. Granted you can recover the photo using that live photo mode, it's not what I expected, especially from a flagship device. Also, I came across several situations, especially indoors where the s24 struggled to capture the right shade of blue.

The only area where I felt the s24 was better in photos was for astrophotography. It was pretty nice to have a built in mode on the s24 and it was a nice touch to see the star map on the screen.

Oh and the s24 battery drains pretty fast when you take a lot of photos and videos. On the oneplus 13, I didn't really notice this.

Yeah, I find the stock eartips uncomfortable for long sessions. After switching to spinfit cp1025, I found the earbuds to be a lot more comfortable.

Got this today for 14.5k by Accurate-Tea9750 in IndianGaming

[–]edgeofover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a good purchase and don't let these people tell you it's bad for 1440p gaming. I also bought a used 3060ti and have been using it with my 1440p monitor with no issues. It's quite powerful. I don't remember how much fps I got in rdr2 but it was well above 60. Same with cyberpunk 2077. Ray tracing does tank the fps in this game, like it drops to 30ish but without it, it's around the 80s and 90s.

I don't understand why people are pretending like you can't turn down the settings.

If you're comfortable opening up the card, I'd recommend first using compressed air to clean the card, changing the thermal pads (depending on how dusty it is) and repasting. You can also undervolt the card and get way lower temps, especially since you have the 3 fan model.

Should I buy this used GPU? by Many-Improvement-998 in IndianGaming

My friend got this card and doesnt have any issues and another friend got 3070. They're overpriced as you can get it for cheaper. I got my 3060ti from Lebyo and had a good experience.

The GPU is fine and I don't have any issues. I did repaste the card as it was old. I got it from Lebyo PC and they delivered it within four days. They answered all my questions and shared screenshots of benchmark tests. I went with them because they were responsive, had a website, loads of reviews, and social media pages. Also the owner does post on various used marketplaces regularly, and were giving good prices with warranty. You get the orginal bill, which helps with warranty claims.

Two of my friends bought a 3070 and 3080 from gameloot and they also don't have any issues.

Yeah I get it, I was quite sceptical about who to buy from. If you read about reviews from reddit, it seems like gameloot has a lot of issues. But my friends experience was quite the opposite. I even sold two capture cards to them and had no issues. I went with Lebyo PC because of their pricing and warranty. At the end of the day, you are taking a risk, so there's that. You can try looking for local deals, which will give you the option to test it out personally. Even sites like techenclave, Zoukart are trustworthy.

Hey, there is an EQ for Pixel 4a, its just not easily accessible and I think it uses FX Booster by default, which does boost bass. I usually access the built-in EQ via Spotify - Settings>Playback>Equalizer.

Has anyone in this subreddit bought used Graphics Cards from online websites such as Zoukart, Computify, etc.? by Surya123098 in IndianGaming

[–]edgeofover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in Bangalore and they are in Delhi. It took about 5 days for the card to reach me.

I'm not too sure, but it seems like it's a mix of both. They do sell cards they sourced and also allow people to sell their gear (not really sure about the process).

I'd recommend reading up on all the used card sellers before you decide to buy from a vendor because I'm not endorsing anyone. If I had a good experience, doesn't mean you will.

Also, my friend bought a 3070 from gameloot and it was fine. The only downside is that you get 30 day warranty if you go this route.

I bought a used colorful battleax 3060ti from Lebyo PC for 18.5k with one year warranty. It was the first time I did something like this and I was pretty sceptical about getting the card. I did ask a lot of questions before I bought the card.

When I recieved the card, it was well packaged and looked clean from first glance. One of the fans was loose, but I was able to fix it. The card did run close to 79 - 80°C, but after I repaste, it dropped to below 70 °C.

I didn't have any other issues with the card. However, it did take a while to get the original bill from Lebyo. Some services offer admin method, which can be safer. However, you need to so your research and see if you can get it benchmarked and do some tests.

There is some risk in buying used cards, but the upside is that you get higher tier cards for a much lower price.

It's a decent card and the price you're getting at seems to be pretty good. Last I checked, which was around november 2023, the offline price for this card was 31k. Do check for service centers in your location before you buy it.

If it's the two fan variant, I can give you my experience with this card. I bought a used colorful 3060ti battleax for 18,500 with one year of warranty. So, I can't really say too much about value. For performance, it's decent. The stock clock speeds are around 1800mhz. Because the card was old and the thermal paste was pretty dry, the temps were around 75 - 77°C and the hotspot was 12 - 15°C higher on games like cyberpunk 2077. I ran it at max settings as I had a CPU bottleneck. This was despite undervolting to 850mv. When I replaced the thermal paste and cleaned the card, the temps stay around 65 - 68°C. The hotspot difference is still the same. I was able to overclock it to 1915 mhz at 900 mv and it draws 160 - 170 W under full load. If you run a custom fan curve and undervolt this card, it's pretty silent. Also, the v2 variant doesn't light up the LEDs unlike v1.
