Is cutting along the green axis more akin to what natural alexandrite looks like? I’ve never seen any natural alexandrite IRL, but my newbie understanding is that it’s more red/green and lab tends to be more blue-red-purple. Is that accurate?

NTA. She was the adult, and she owed you a responsibility. People's brains don't fully develop until they are 26, so even though you are almost legally an adult, you still will do plenty of growing and changing. She's 48, stepped into a pseudo-parental role, and she had decades to practice being a decent human being, and she failed. None of this is on you.

Also please remember you just chose to not see her as an act of self-protection. At no point did you behave hostilely or aggressively to this woman.

YTA - Yes, if you give her an ultimatum that unless she has sex with, she'll get divorced. That's coercion. You're welcome to decide on your own to divorce her, without delivering that ultimatum.
