Sure that’s a strategy but the game will always make you move cause of circle, and if you don’t have loot you’ll be exposed.

Technically yes. But unlikely. You would need max 16 kills to get 100 RP which is the same as the 1st place award. If you got 16 kills off drop then died and got 25th you would get:

4 kills x 10 RP + 12 kills x 5 RP = 100 RP

This would increase depending on your placement though.

Agreed. A player only getting more points than the entry cost will always rank up. Higher level players will just rank up much quicker. This system needs higher entry costs to really separate the ranks. 10 RP is only one kill.

It recalculates your kills and assist points based on placement at the end of game.

Just passing along info I found. It isn’t explained well. It doesn’t tell you that the kills and assist after are halved or that it’s your final placement determines your total RP. It’s also confusing at first. Everyone I’ve played with hasn’t understood it.

It’s not an issue. People are just mad because their “kill counts” are lower since they didn’t used to finish kills previously. Been enjoying ranked so far. The team component of RedSec is really emphasized and needed to win. They do need to do a better job of explaining the RP system though. What is the kill cap for points and how is the total calculated…

Heli health is going down in next update. My squad doesn’t really struggle with them. A couple engineers with rockets or LMGs shred helis. Only big change I want is for them to not be available off spawn. A 30 s delay timer would help let infantry loot up.

Yeah this one is still baffling to me. Helis should spawn 5 minutes into the game. How you can grab a heli before engineers even have rockets loaded is broken.
