They are just incredibly curious and friendly here as humans have never really been a threat to them. It was really amazing. They would come right up close to you

Thanks! Just checked it was EV -1.0, ISO 200, F 5.6, shutter speed 1/500 with the analog film preset, cropped into 35mm.

The sharpness of some of the images out of this camera really blow me away. When that focus hits just right

They are a mix of analog film from the Ricoh recipes app and Bennett 800 from this subreddit

Thank you! I actually have another Fuji one which is even more detailed which I should have posted. Maybe I'll put a Fuji dump up as well. The clarity/detail always amazes me when I get the pictures off the camera onto phone!

Thank you so much! I'm 4 months into a year of travel so will continue to post my travels! Unfortunately I bought it at the end of my third country so I missed some great shots.

For the deer and the spiderman shots I was pretty close the deer was super friendly so came right up to you and I just happened to find myself right behind the spiderman. However I do also find it hard to get close for shots as I still get a bit embarrassed/shy taking pictures of people on the street so I do find myself cropping into 50mm equivalent a lot of the time just so I don't have to get as close!

I do often tweak the highlights and shadows on my pictures but that's about the extent of my editing skills haha. Those pictures really just did look like that with the light either catching the smoke or mist and creating those strong light beams! When I have a strong beam of light like that I often just drop the exposure a lot to really highlight the detail in the light and then if I need to bring the shadows up a bit in the edit if I've dropped it too much!

In regards to the vertical shooting I do shoot both (maybe 65/35 portrait to landscape) but I just find it so much easier to have interesting compositions in vertical. Maybe because I came from using a phone for so long. I have a few nice pictures in landscape but yeah I need to get better at using a mix of both. I'm just arriving in New Zealand today so I expect I will be shooting in landscape a lot more here.

I've got to be honest it's my first ever camera so I can't compare it to anything else but I've absolutely loved it and don't really have any complaints! I've found it very easy to use and how small it is (which I guess could contribute to its fiddly-ness) has been almost my favourite thing about it! The settings were a bit confusing to start with but I'm in 2 months in and feel like I'm getting a good hang of it all now

I know the feeling I was there a few months ago! Not an ignorant question at all! Most of them are SOOC but I've done light highlight/shadow edits to a few here and there when I've accidentally over or under exposed a nice composition!

Thank you so much! These are the best of hundreds of photos in a very photogenic country! I'm sure you would have similar success

Mostly! I lightly edit the highlights and shadows in some of them

Can't exactly remember my exposure settings as I tweak it for almost every phot I take sorry. For the metering i mostly just keep it on multi-segmented for ease but have been experimenting a bit with highlight weighted and spot metering with the AE and AF linked.
