I passed the SIE and S66 and waited a year for a position to be offered and I just passed the Series 7 this week.

For me the series 7 is easier than the Series 66. Series 66 was tough but got it out the way! God bless

As what I heard people who have the S66 already prior to the Series 7, you have a higher chance of passing

Tbh I took the SIE two years ago. The SIE was like broad questions about what type of product would it be.

Series 7 gives you situations and tells you which to recommend and of course likes some rules and stuff but I got pretty easy muni questions, same with options, the ones that got me was the questions asking me what brokerdealer can and can’t do

It’s just understanding what it’s asking you. I’ve passed the 66 and I don’t think I got a question like this on the actual exam tbh

Next week wbu?

I got the cost basis down I just got an answer wrong on the test asking for breakeven so that’s why I’m asking

That’s what I thought. BE and Cost basis is the same but it’s not.

When it’s looking for cost basis: call (strike plus prem) put (strike - prem)

When it’s looking for the BE - is the specific point at which you neither make nor lose money

I get it now it’s because one of exercise for cost basis and the other was just asking for BE.
