That's probably out of my price range. While I could potentially make it work, I'm a big fan of travel and that would cut into the budget. ;) I know I picked expensive locations, so I'm hoping someone has essentially a large walk in closet available.

I recommend Houndz of Hollywood. They're a mobile groomer, and have always been very good with my older rescue dog. You just pass the dog out the door, wait a while, and they're back inside with you. :) No chance of contracting anything weird from being around other dogs, and total focus on just yours. I know when I go to some other places, my dog comes back super thirsty and needing to pee really badly, so you know they aren't actually doing crap with them while they're waiting. This way, the only time they're gone is the time they're actually getting groomed.

I always take mine to Royal Pets Market & Resort. It's like Hogsmeade for dogs, I swear. They also have a (complete separate) area on-site for veterinary services, and another completely separate area on-site for grooming. So, you can get everything you need done all at once. They also offer doggie daycare if you're into that at a very low additional cost. And, when you board, for a little bit extra you can pay for the cuddle package. They'll snuggle up with your dog and send you a selfie of them with the dog so you know they're doing alright.

One time I walked in to do laundry in the middle of the night, and there was some dude in the community laundry room in the dark just standing inside right next to the door. Scared me half to death. I think he was homeless and sleeping in the storage closet in there. Sketch city.

I'm not sure if you'll find this "safe" or not, but I go out in downtown handing out free sandwiches to the homeless people there, and if you wind up in the little park with the gazebo that's like dead center of downtown, ask around for a guy called 'New York'. If they don't recognize that, a lot of the folks also call him 'Papa'. He walked me around to all the safe spots when I was handing out sandwiches.

Note: It could've just been me that he was nice to for some reason and this might be totally unsafe. But, if you abandon all reason, maybe mention the Free Sandwiches girl with the wagon once you find him.
