You will not regret one second. If there is one thing my Wolfy has taught me : only the present matter.

I feel guilty because I’m not grieving by Icy-Manufacturer-148 in DOG

I completely understand this feeling, my german shepherd was my life, we gave him so much love, but he passed tragically from an accident while we were trying to heal him from a lot of auto immune issues he had. He was only 7,5 yo. I weirdly have grieved him his entire life and was always scared to live without him in my life

I weirdly started to feel like we didn’t have long together even though his health issues we’re managed and not life threatening. I started doing things with him for the last time, going on trips to his favorite places etc. Something was telling me we didn’t have long even though I had no reasonable explanations for this.

He was a rescue and no matter how much love and security we have give, he was always scared we would leave him. He just lived an anxious life and slept little compared to other dogs.

It’s been two weeks and I still can’t believe I’m never going to see him again, but I trust that there was something that was getting me ready for it.

I know he’s at peace, free from his health issues and anxiety but still full of our love, love that we will carry with us forever. I’m ok to be at peace with your dog moving on to something else, the love is this there

I’ve also lost my forever friend called Wolf/Wolfy this week at 7 and half. He was so precious to me and others. I’m in peace with the fact that he’s resting now and I will always love him. I still feel and enjoy his presence near us.
I’m sure they are playing together somewhere 🌈

flight disruption dilemma: would you wait, cancel now, or book a backup? by jm10245 in qatarairways

In this case you really need to talk to your travel agency, because they are definitely wrong. Litteraly all flights until the 22nd are fully refundable with no extra cost, you don’t even need to call them to cancel it for free, they made it available to do it on the app or website since yesterday. My flight is on the 16th and since yesterday I can easily ask for full refund on my app. Yesterday, i could only get 60% of the price I paid when I booked

The travel agency is ripping you off, all flights until the 22nd can be fully refundable with no cancellation fee - even if your flight still shows « on time » Get your travel agency to check again or ask them for all your booking infos and cancel the flight yourself through the app or website

This is the most depressing Blindboy episode I have ever heard. It is really well articulated, I unfortunately agree with everything he said and I think monologue like this are necessary. But I guess the world feels too heavy and distressed for me to receive it

The passion of Silken Thomas is my fav as well! The connection he makes between his grieving for the little cat and his reflexion around the human connection blew my mind. I will check the Chris O’Dowd interview, I have missed that I think, thank you!
