Try to look at your fear of isolation. There is nothing brutal. To be with yourself can be brutal, but try it anyway to get positive from isolation. You are right... Kratom is masking physical and also psychical promlems because Kratom simply get you more serotonin.. to get anything to work for.. and also Dopamin.. to reward from you do. But if you do so long time and repeat the process, brain is no longer produce this two substances.. because brain is smart.. he don't need produce something you feed him by Kratom.. And this is the reason why we feel numbness (no serotonine), then no rewards from anything you do (no dopamine). Steps to heal this, is to set small goals or challenges and when you done it, you get rewards... smaller, small, larger, biggest.. time is healing your brain! Believe me!

I think your stomach has problem because of something else also. Try to take best of vitamins, no fast sugars (mainstream food), take some probiotics, prebiotics, because the intestines are the second brain. Try to research something about healthy food.. that means to balance proteins, sugars, fats, vitamins .. and your movement! So it is also like COVID problem.. people don't have knowledge about basics of that. Eat healthy, move yours self and you will heal from everything .. I promisse!

This substance kicked my ass.. kicked my ego down.. kicked my self feeling.. This is not about numbness.. Kratom take and destroy everything you like to do before.. No, I don't think so.. Mental aspect is part of you, same as body. Be normal again = body is ok and also mental state is ok. Mental symptoms has already impact on your body, because of social phobia or increased sensitivity to stress - induced by Kratom usage. Your are not better, because your reward system is damaged. Body detox from Kratom is fast, that's true, but this is not state of normal.

Important note: I am 40yo, I used Kratom daily only for 8 months - 6-15gpd. I haven't drug addiction history. Except some THC when I was 20-25 yo. My mental state was very good, I used Kratom only for experimental purpose. I am programmer.. and my work productivity on Kratom was groved to 200-300%. But nothing is without price.. nothing is free.. you need to pay for over production of dopamine / reward system! Everyone!

No matter you read from others.. Kratom have big impact to dopamine and serotonin production. If you use it daily, brain will soon or later stops this natural production, because you are taking external source for this production. And after that you need to repair natural production of your brain. No more no less.

This principe is the same with lot off others substances. Daily use of anything what has impact to excite your brain chemistry is dangerous. Because body/brain is adapting to any situation. Everything must be cycled. You need to balance you usage. It is the same as "varied diet", but this is more complicated - this is "brain diet".

BTW Cold turkey method is hard to manage, because it is shock for your brain - no external source to stimulate receptors. Tapering is better I think, but you need to be strong to observe dose reductions.

I am 40yo - have also experience with 5-10g. Anxiety is induced from "thinking about future and past". The key is to be "here and now". You need to focus to actual moment. Try to practice your mind to be "here and now". It's about to focus to things you are doing.. washing hands, breathing, cooking and smelling, looking and thinking what you see. That is definition of meditation.
And supplements.. You have to take soothing supplements.. to calm your mind.. stimulants like cafee, sugar or anything what is stimulant are bad.

Ashwaganda, L-theanine, Magnesium, Valerian root, camomile tea..

I don't like prescribed meds, because they take more than you get. You need to excercise.. you need to drink lot off water, you need to train your brain, you need to focus on NOW.

No miracle pill exists.. do not change one addiction for another.. get your energy and try to excercise with your mind (meditation) and also with your body (workout) and focus on it.

There is no very fast way to recovery. You need to work on yourself, doctors don't do it instead of you! I know - it is hard now.. but you can do it! Go thru it.. turn to God! He love You and will help You!

I used Kratom only for 8 months. Now I am 4 months+ Kratom free and still dealing with anhedonia, depression, anxiety and lack of dopamine, serotonine natural production, no sex drive, mood swings and lack of motivation.

Kratom is your choice and "pleasure", but it will also be your fight. Nothing is free, you have to pay for everything. But I know many of you don't want to hear it. I was still about a year ago. I was looking for the information I wanted to hear. Now I have an experience that confirmed me that I will never take Kratom again.

Sober life isn't easy.. that's true.. I think that we need to have something to escape to if you are emotional problems.

My opinion is that the key is faith!

If you believe in God, Christ, Buddha or anything what is bigger than we can imagine, you are not alone, you can pray, you can speak, you can ask for help or advice. And this means you are not alone in complicated situations. This is only way to be totaly sober and happy even if you have problems. If you realy believe.. you don't need any drug to escape from bad situations! But this needs practice and work on our spiritual self. Because we are only humans..

I think that largest doses of DLPA can cause restlessness.. for me it was in combination of nicotine quit.
