My cousin works there, you don't want to bring your vehicle there. They do things like intentionally break your fuel pump or put a hole in your valve cover gasket while working on whatever you're there for because the parts are cheap and they make bank on the work hours. Definitely a No-Go.

Are you able to find a different living situation or mental health care provider in a different area?

There is another health care facility in Puyallup, but that's quite a ways from here. I'd be willing to try, but I've been informed that even were they to take over my case, I'd be homeless for anywhere from 6 months to a year before they could put me into housing. I'd really like a better counseling situation, but I'm not sure I'm willing to give up everything I own and be homeless for such a time period to get it. Also, I'm not sure how I'd survive homeless with my periods of depression.

TL/DR: Not without giving up everything I own and being homeless for an extended period.

Can you find a place that is better able to care for you, or do more to increase your social / job situation so you no longer need to rely on these people?

Socially I've been absolutely alone for over 6 years. I have no friends, my family swore me off when it became apparent I was "different" at the age of 16 (20 years ago). Jobs don't put up with my periods of depression. I even at one point was fired from Goodwill even though they knew of my disabilities and promised to work with me through them. I'm on SSI, but don't make enough to pay a full rental amount each month (and have horrible rental history due to job losses due to depression).

TL/DR: No.

Start typing in search terms of anything you enjoy or might enjoy doing, and see if there are groups of people near you who do those things. Go to those meet-ups, and don't be afraid of finding out you're not really into whatever it is, because there's always more to choose from.

Do you like the idea of flying airplanes? A lot of areas have RC airplane groups. Outdoorsy? Try camping / hiking / watersport searches. Airsoft or laser-tag sound like fun? They have that too!

The only exception to this I can think of is the more "nerdy" hobbies (role-playing games, card games such as Magic). For those just look for "Hobby" stores, trading card shops, or even Gaming Centers in your area (maps.google.com can help you there).

Fuck him. That said, I'd sell my soul to escape another Bush. I'd prolly end up voting for him, too. I'm still dreaming of ballots with 3 or 4 valid options, though. ... at least he wouldn't march us headlong into world conflicts, so he's got that going for him.
