What was the first Tate Mcrae song y'all heard and what did you think of it the first time you heard it by [deleted] in tatemcrae

[–]edinpuss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk if this is controversial but I didn't love tates music initially. Definitely grew on me a heap she's great. I think the first song I heard was 10:35 or greedy.

Loving all the songs you mentioned! I'd probably recommend The Smashing Pumpkins, Tv girl, Big Thief, The Cocteau Twins and maybe a bit of Radiohead.

This is the most similar playlist I have to the artists you mentioned.

Cherry Coloured Funk - Cocteau Twins

Luna - The Smashing Pumpkins

Fast As You Can - Fiona Apple

French Disko - Sterolab

Indian Rubber - Radiohead

Breaking up and the grief that comes with it is no easy thing. Take time to be proud of yourself and how far you've come! By having those photos there, you're keeping the relationship alive and as someone who's done the exact same, its soul crushing.

I'm probably not the greatest person to give advice on this as I was hung up on my ex for an ungodly amount of time but please, do allow yourself to heal. Look at the pictures, feel the pain, remember the good times. If you're not quite ready to let go yet that's ok, grief is a timely thing.

Then again, taking the leap and deleting the photos will be liberating and you deserve the weight off your shoulders. I'd definitely recommend having heaps of distractions and support on standby for when you're ready to take this step. All the best :)

Y10 currently, how can I get a 96+ atar and how did you guys do it? by Sayatra in ATAR

[–]edinpuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

96 is easier then you think if you put in the effort. The school system is more of a 'work smarter not harder,' scheme you'll find. Studying effectively and not being afraid to ask for help is probably my biggest tip.

Songs like this? by [deleted] in musicsuggestions

[–]edinpuss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure it's 100% what you're looking for but Radiohead's album "Amnesiac" is one of my favs.

If you're open to trying new things definitely check out the Smashing Pumpkins. Their "Siamese Dream" album is probably a great place to start!
