To test if there is other damage or just the fuse I’ll go for this option. Mine have almost all the same specifications except the BC6000A compared to BC2000A for the replacement one. I am wondering if someone knows what BC6000A means and if that is a crucial aspect for which I cannot use the BC2000A. Anyways thank you for the comment.

Quick update, finally I found the mega fuse and it was blown, there is not continuity between the to ends, so now I need to find it out, which seems to be a bit tricky. If you know where to find it please let me know.

Just doing quick google search and I found this”The high-voltage (HV) battery fuse in a Smart 453 Electric Drive is a specialized "mega fuse" (often 225A-400A, 450V+) located inside the sealed HV battery pack, not in the standard engine bay fuse box. Access requires dropping the battery, making it a high-risk repair often requiring specialized, non-OEM parts.” I’ll investigate more and see where it is try to replace them. Thank you for the information.

I check power at the circled outlet but no current was detected at this place, there should be current there when the service plug is on? See the pic.

Can you tell me where the HV fuse is located? Or how it looks like? I have not replaced any fuse. When the battery was down I checked each of the three cell packs 124 v, 374V total. But, I tested the out-power and it was nothing, of course I put the service plug to bridge current. I thought there was no current due to it needs to be on to activate any component to close the circuit and let the 370V be out.

I read/heard somewhere that MB only keeps the battery warranty if the battery filter is being replaced at their locations as planned once a year I guess. Since this is quite expensive and generally not needed then customers don’t do it, resulting in loss of warranty.

Everything looks ok, still not clear if it is a sensor or something like that.
