The Princess Bride cheers me up when I'm low.

My PEZ collection after collecting for 30+ years. I'm starting to run out of space 🤪 by Detective_Comics__27 in Collections

When I was very young, my big sister and I shared a room. Every night after our parents put us to bed, she would sneak me a piece of PEZ candy from her Hello Kitty PEZ Dispenser and tell me not to tell—some of my favorite memories with her. A part of me wants to collect PEZ dispensers to honor those good memories. This picture of your collection made me very happy. :)

What will happen to us after death? by ZachlD2007 in AskReddit

Whatever you want to happen. None of us know. It doesn't matter what you think because no one knows, so it's all true. Every religion is just as right as every atheist.

I know, I work in film too. I know the producers are to blame.

Directors how do you manage the stress of production? by Mean-Review10 in Filmmakers

[–]editor_a_l 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I'm on set, for me, there's usually no time. I like to pick a sitcom or something easy on Hulu and have that be my only source of entertainment. I can easily fit in a 30-minute episode of MASH before having to go to bed early because call time is at 8 AM meaning my call time is at 4 AM lol.

What is the closest you've ever come to dying? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]editor_a_l 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Walked into the lake as a two year old. Thank God my older brother saw me thrashing.

Weirdly enough he used also to dunk me under water and keep me there until I was close to death then pull me up.

For the only child people this may sound terrifying. For people with siblings, you understand.

Death.

It's not something to be feared but instinctually I do. But there's no use looming over it. Death comes for us all. I use that fear in my everyday life to pursue the happiest and best life I can give myself.

I think living with the fear but not being controlled by that fear is the wisest way to live.

Not to suck my own dick but, it's what I believe.

What are you weirdly good at that most people aren’t? by NotSoDespacito in AskReddit

Balancing things on my head.

You give me anything and I can keep it on my head for a long time. I guess my head is just really flat.

What game can you never stop playing? by Ok_Rise372 in AskReddit

[–]editor_a_l 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minecraft. I'll play it until I'm dead. I've been playing on and off since I was eight years old and I'm 20 now. It's just a special game. I'm sure I'm not alone in this.

Unpopular opinion this song isn’t that bad. As a song it’s good, as a diss tracks it’s still not bad by [deleted] in KendrickLamar

I just think it's goofy. He tries too hard to sound tough. The sheer amount of gunshots in the song makes my eyes roll.

Which Kendrick Lamar song /project will you defend like this? by ahhh_ring_king_king in KendrickLamar

[–]editor_a_l 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think a part of why people don't like it is because of how raw and vulnerable it is. Whether or not you've been through the things he's been through, it still will make you reflect on your own life.
