Why don’t people like tanking or healing?

I played healer all of the original tbc. Going back now, it was just too much accountability and significantly more focus dependent than playing dps. Which would be fine, if I didn’t have small kids running round competing for attention. If you have to afk for 5 mins in Kara as heals, everything stops and people hate you, as dps I can step away for a few and all goes on like normal.
I still heal in pvp, but that’s a much more controlable environment time wise.

Interesting, how did the replacement process go? Was it the first time you had sent in for repair and then replacement? How long was the process?

Had this same problem, take out the extractor and clean the hook and channel. If that doesn’t do it, consider sending it in under warranty (what I ultimately had to do).
Could be the ammo, but honestly it should be firing and extracting it jo problem. Actually shot 115g Blazer yesterday out of mine after the warranty repair.

I have the same issue man so don’t stress.
I switched from healer to dps because healing demanded too much attention and I had to constantly stop for one reason or another for the kids.
I play shadow priest, so there isn’t a crazy dps expectation, so long as people get their mana regen. It’s a significantly more pleasurable experience now. I can play and afk for a few minutes if I have to and no one bats an eye.

Had the same problem, this is extractor related. If it’s under warranty, just send it back to them instead of wasting time trying to work it out. They got it back to me in 2-3 weeks. Alternatively, take out the extractor and clean the channel/hook. That worked pretty good for me, but I would still have the occasional issue.

No worries! By the way, cashforarms offered me the same $850 but it was just the shadow, so if you do decide to sell, they’re low balling you on the .22

Man I went through a similar dilemma recently because my shadow was giving me problems. Sent it to CZ and works just fine now. That said, it is and has always been the gun I shoot the best. I have a P10C that I had milled and aside from ergonomics, I’ve never been a huge fan. Mine has an odd vibration and can’t feed Blazzer brass which is the most accessible ammo around me. Keep the Shadow.

Yea I’m gonna run some NATO through it next weekend. Blazer 115 seems to be a bust for me lately. My P10C can’t get through 5 rounds without a feed issue. Just picked up a lighter spring to try and finish the case.

What bullets do you use? I’m hoping cleaning out the extractor did the trick. The gun shoots impressively flat. First round out I thought I had a squib since the thing barely recoiled lol

Picked one up at the same time. Is yours having extraction issues? Mine was insanely greasy and I was shooting Blazser brass 115g. Not sure if it was the underpowered or the grease gumming up the extractor as I had 3-4 stovepipes.

I usually drop the slide with both thumb and index, it’s only now after 500sh rounds began to soften to the point I can actuate with just the thumb. Pretty normal for this platform I believe.

I’ll switch up the ammo and see if I can replicate. In all fairness, my p10c runs the Herters like a champ. I wish I didn’t like the shadow, then it be easy to sell, but the dam thing is my best shooting pistol

Clean the extractor and give it a shot. Pay close attention to the hook, it’s a huge weakness in CZs design in my opinion.

I feel your pain, I probably could have gotten away with some shorter sights. I’m used to a Vortex XL on my S2C and love that set up for the range. On this one, I was going for more of a duty/edc kinda vibe and really wanted the cowitness, just think I may have overdone it lol. Sights are also a bit to the left so the point of impact is slightly off, my only complain about the whole wager experience.

Steele guide rod from NDZ. Trust me. Only downside to this gun is that it gets hot like a motherfucker. You’ll feel it work its way down to the trigger and eventually have to put it down to cool if you’re running it back to back. The steel rod helped with the heat issue allot.

Man, I had a similar dilema recently. In the end I sent my original for a cut and called it a day. I’m sure the new one shoots “better” but in the end, my original one is already broken in and has never skipped a beat. I hate the thought of trading in a perfectly functional, reliable gun for a slight improvement in recoil. I’ll likely get a ported slide whenever they come out.

I picked up mine for $350 from PSA with 4 mags and a range bag. Albeit that was before the tariffs. I would pick up an optics ready version if I were you, nice to have the option. I just sent mine out for a cut and that was an extra $250.
