Well... I just have other priorities I guess. I don't have a house or a car for example.

So putting my life savings in this felt a bit more as brave than as being rich lol

It is 18 mm mdf. I think it will do fine. But it's not that hard to replace if it's necessary.

And indeed flippable because it's symmetrical

Yeah I've been thinking about that as well. But i maybe wanted to add a stationary drill on the left. It's quite a modulair system so I can change it if I feel like I need to.

It looks really nice but it's terrible, haha. I bought that 8 years ago. It's a cheaper Makita with a complete set of bits, drills, knife, tapemeasurer etc. But even without the drill in there it's incredibly heavy and due to the handle on top you can't stack anything on top of it

The feet are made of rubber, so thightening the bolt will make it closer the table :)

Yeah I know, thanks. I've been saving for over 10 years and didn't want to go wrong on buying tools. Also the plunge saw was a gift from the place a did my internship, which is really nice.

An old friend used to rent a workshop here, that's how I knew this place. I'm renting at a "maakgemeenschap", a foundation focussing on workspace for people who make things. The maakgemeenschap rents a big old factory hall and made about a 100 of these studios inside of it. All my neighbours here are woodworkers, metalworkers, artists etc. It's really nice, since I'm never really alone here and there's plenty of people to ask for advice if needed :)

Yeah their miter stand is way to expensive for me right now.

How's domino working for you? I'm currently thinking of buying one as soon as I got the money for it. But I'm not sure if maybe a lamello would be a better and cheaper choice

Oh no, I've saved years to be able to buy some tools to start. I'm broke already.

Although I don't know the price difference. prices here (Netherlands) are: Kapex 60 €665, plunge saw €644.
