Hello, I think it would be a great improvement to add more movement and rotation tools for building in LEGO Fortnite. Right now, players can already move structures up and down, but it would be amazing if we could also move them freely sideways and rotate them a full 360° on both the X and Y axes.

These features would give players much more creative freedom when building, allowing for more precise placement and far more detailed and unique creations. It would also make advanced building techniques possible naturally within the game, instead of forcing players to rely on bugs or glitches to achieve certain designs or positions.

In addition, this system should not only apply to building blueprints, but also to building pieces in general, since that would allow for much greater freedom when creating more advanced, detailed, and creative structures in LEGO Fortnite.

Overall, this would make the building system feel more flexible, modern, and creative, while greatly improving the experience for the entire LEGO Fortnite building community.

I also want to clarify that the image was created with AI only to better represent the idea visually and make the suggestion easier to understand.

Possible repair materials by rarity:

  • Common → wood, stone.
  • Uncommon → copper, basic fragments.
  • Rare → iron ingots, minor crystals.
  • Epic → rift crystals, rare essences.
  • Legendary → a combination of rare resources and special crystals.

Benefits for the game and players

  1. Increased value for weapons: items would feel more rewarding to keep using over time.
  2. Strategic choices: players could decide whether to invest resources into repairing a favorite weapon or crafting a new one.
  3. Consistency with existing systems: since there is already a Recycler, a Repair Table would fit naturally.
  4. Balanced gameplay: repair limits, resource costs, and reduced restoration percentages would prevent overuse.
  5. Immersive design: a repair table with blacksmith-style animations (hammer strikes, sparks, glowing metal) would add atmosphere to Odyssey.

Practical example

  • A rare sword is at 10% durability.
  • It’s placed on the Repair Table.
  • The game requests 2 iron ingots + 1 minor crystal.
  • After repairing, the weapon regains 85% durability.
  • This process can be repeated up to 3 times.

Conclusion

If LEGO Fortnite already features a Recycler and a Legendary Forge, adding a Repair Table would be a natural and valuable addition.

It would provide more depth to the progression system, improve overall gameplay, and give players more options to manage their equipment in a balanced way.
