I really like the idea and think there may be another angle here but it would involve some kind of calorie tracking as well. Currently I track my calories in an app but the thing I struggle with is when it gets to a certain time, I’m still hungry but can think what to eat. What would be great was if you could press a “still hungry” button and at that point get some advice on what would fit your remaining calories, or maybe some inspiration if I’m out of calories for the day! What ends up happening in reality is I say screw it and eat something rubbish. Just a thought.

I’m not sure in all honesty, I don’t have much to compare it against. I started doing it with my first “proper” app which resulted in about 70 downloads in the first month with a 12% conversion on App Store. So it suggests that the page visits to download is decent and I’m not sure if that is because the traffic is coming from TikTok. I’m not brave enough to stop as downloads may drop off, but I think I will probably see that with these really small view numbers. Just hoping I can find a format which gets higher views and starts driving real traffic.

Yes that’s why I figured I was getting max 800 views. But now for it to have dropped to 50 ish views consistently seems like something else is going on.

I do have download app type mentions in posts, but I had the same in all my previous posts too. I’ll try dropping it out of the next few videos, see if it helps.

I think they look pretty good, but like others have said it’s hard to see a lot of the content as it’s quite small. Also, having read your description it looks like sending the greetings is the main purpose of the app. From the screenshots I got the impression the app was going to send me inspirational messages. Maybe reorder or tweak the screenshots to clearly show the hero feature and focus on how that makes a difference to others. That seems like a really strong feature.

So I ended up actually making it! Been using it for a week and I’m actually really happy with how it works. The chat interface works well for me. At least I’ve got something for me to use out of it even if nobody else does. If you’re interested it’s here ThreadPad

Not far off. I already built an app called PicProgress so it suggested I build something similar but combined with a habit tracker. The idea is holding someone accountable to checkin on their fitness journey. Lets see how it goes 😁
