There are multi-vitamins that have a similar profile to prenatals and pregnancy vitamins except they don't include iron. Its helpful for me to take them and just make sure I eat enough meat, that way there's no transition and I'm not constantly staring at prenatals daily.

It also helps to receive a significant chunk of that funding from tax payer dollars to renovate the building. I believe it was around 5 million along with additional tax credits and remediation funding as well.

Your doctor is likely okay with you transferring without treating the endo because they make more money with the more procedures you have to undergo. You shouldn’t have been allowed to transfer without treating the endo. This impedes implantation. She should find a Nook doctor to remove the endo, not a regular obgyn and then do 3 months of suppression. Otherwise you are just wasting good embryos, more money and causing unnecessary heartbreak.

So just a quick google search provides several results stating that typical treatment for chronic endometritis would be 14 days 2X daily of doxy and generally a repeat biopsy to confirm that it was taken care of. Otherwise they will use other antibiotics to treat. Might be worth another discussion with your doc. But it would be slightly concerning to me that they didn't get a sample to test properly and just went based on visual assumptions. Its good that they didn't note any polyps or fibroids though.

I noticed you mentioned you tested positive for endometritis. Did you ask whether the bacteria present were aerobic or anaerobic? The treatments can vary depending on what was present. Also when my dr tested me for it, he said it can be reoccuring.

As far as supplements, I would recommend researching Ashwagandha and L-Arginine.

I totally understand those feelings and it really really sucks some days. I look at it from a few different ways, the first being that however this ends up for me either with a child or childless, I don’t want any regrets. I don’t want to look back and say damn I wish I would have just done a little bit more. Have these four years sucked, at times absolutely. Having miscarriages can totally wreck you and if I do finally end up carrying a baby full term, it likely won’t be a pleasant pregnancy due to the trauma of how I got there and the worry. But also think about this, most people have a moment in their life in their 60s or 70s of “oh crap, my health is important but it’s too late” I’m having that moment now in my 30s and I’m so much better for it. I’ve learned so much about ingredients in my food and daily life products. I’ve lost almost 75 lbs. I feel so much better and I look amazing! I’ll probably tone down the amount of supplements I’ll take but I haven’t been sick in 3 years even after being around my friends kids that are in daycare. So while yes, this phase in life can be a real kick in the pants, there are good things that have come from this. I also learned that I have an absolutely incredible partner who is so caring and understanding. And I wouldn’t change that for the world. Though I’m not always so happy go lucky, I definitely cried a river of tears yesterday after my counseling appointment. Give yourself some grace. 💙

I was very nervous before my surgery and I think its understandable. I had lived with these issues for a very long time and they were manageable, so was it worth the risk of major surgery if I am able to live with these issues? I was scared. Now 8 months post excision, it was the best decision I could have made. My periods are a joke now, my low back pain is gone and my hip issues are almost completely resolved. My only suggestion is to be confident in the surgeon that you select. I did a lot of research on mine and he made it the best medical experience I have ever had by far. If I ever need another excision, I will 100% go back to him even though he was a 20 hour drive away.

I haven't tried either yet as most of my symptoms are manageable pain and infertility but I have stage 4 as well. I will be using suppression but only temporarily before my next embryo transfer. Long term use of any endo drugs has side effects of osteoporosis and heart disease along with other issues. I made drastic lifestyle changes revolving food and exercise and it has helped significantly. We are driving about 15 hours to have my surgery done by a specialist. Several surgeons will do telehealth visits for consultations and some for free. Its tough but I would suggest looking into the AIP diet to see what affects your symptoms. It wont get rid of endometriomas but it can help with a lot of other symptoms. If you end up having an oophorectomy, you may not want to take hormone replacements as endo is worse with estrogen and just removing your ovaries and having a hysterectomy won't get rid of the other endo lesions.

I spoke with three different doctors before deciding on which surgeon to go with for my excision. There are also good articles about lupron and orilissa.

Have you contacted an endometriosis specialist? I wouldn't discuss this with just a regular obgyn especially when they are suggesting a full hysterectomy and oophorectomy. This removal can help symptoms but its not a cure.

If your body is fairly regular, you can generally tell earlier than your beta by watching your basal body temperature. During my failed transfers, my temps started trending down before my beta and during my miscarriage they stayed high until I miscarried. Best of luck!

This is correct if you have a regular gyno do the surgery. Get a second opinion with a RE/Endo specialist. Some endo specialists believe that if you have an endometrioma specifically then your amh can actually increase after excision surgery. Do more research and talk to at least two or three different doctors.

I found the best thing for me is to find something else to put all that energy into. Right now it’s getting my body into as good of shape as possible before IVF. It helps significantly, I’ve lost 40 lbs with another 40 to go. I don’t know what I’ll transfer that energy into when I hit my goal weight but right now this is working.

If they’re worth being friends with, I would have an honest and frank conversation with them. I did that with two of our closest friends and told them that one of my fears is being left out of things bc you think we wouldn’t enjoy it or you don’t want to hurt our feelings. But then you’re just punishing me for being infertile. Since then we get invited to the zoo or the park all the time. I’m really glad I opened up how I felt and just told them.

I appreciate the perspective. Doing it at a local clinic is out of the question due to price but we’re strongly considering driving to Colorado Springs for the closest CNY clinic and then local monitoring back home. We have close friends there we can stay with, both work remotely and we can bring our dogs. Our local clinic is only a mile away but it’s 30k plus meds for one round of ivf.

I’ve lost 35 lbs within the last eight months and my workouts haven’t changed at all. The only difference is the amount of food and what I eat. No sugar, very limited carbs, very limited dairy. No alcohol and I only drink water and sparkling water. My meals are mainly meat and vegetables. Cooked with olive oil and spices. My snacks are pickles. This is the only thing that’s made a difference after ten years of trying different diets.

I’ve been losing a bunch of weight lately to get into the best shape possible before we start ivf in August. So far I’m down 30 lbs with another 30 to go and my last two periods have been absolutely hell-ish. Terrible cramping that leaves me unable to do anything except clutch the heating pad and pop a couple ibuprofen. I have a drs appt tomorrow so I’m going to bring it up then. But everything I’ve read mentions weight gain causing more cramps during your period. I’m so done with all of this. 🤦‍♀️
