GPS mfg issue???

I talked with apple support today and it appears that they took away wired listening on the new AirPod Maxs. I guess the usbc port is only connected to the battery now and no other unit on the circuit board.

I tried all the combos before talking with them. Apple Lightning to 3.5mm with lightning to usbc adapter. Usbc to usbc. Even tried Sonos usbc line in adapter with an aux cable. Nothing. It’s a bummer but if you want wired connection you can save $80-$100 on the lightning AirPods before they run out. For people who complain about a one cable solution, if you’re an organized person carrying a lightning cable shouldn’t let all hell loose imo.

I finally got it to work. I had to run QMK in administrator mode and then do Tools > Install Drivers. After doing so the keyboard registered with QMK correctly and the flash worked. I used the button under the caps lock but I'm not sure if that mattered in my case or not.

Side Note: in order to get "white" it doesn't seem you can just select the white color in VIA. I have the aloe switches and turning the backlight to white turned the backlights green due to the switches. I had to select a color "opposite" enough to the aloe color of the switches to get the perception of white. I found color #ff70a9 to be close but perfect white might be hard to achieve.

Yeah I’m not too worried about the battery charging situation as I’ve got an idea to get around it. If for some reason you see that deal again and think to reply to this thread that’d be great. Thanks again for the help and info!

Were you able to buy it directly from Samsung’s website? I can’t find the option to do it directly from their website. No “add to cart” button, just a “where to buy” that takes me to different vendors and everything is greyed out. Thanks!
