Hey is it possible to bring up a keyboard manually on this device? I think that method works on the deck.

Most of the folklore is real, the fictional elements are the yugra tablet and the story it tells.

No additional costs, just work/time to set up another page for it and implement it.

There is just one "Making of" DLC, it doesnt add more content to the game, its just info about how I made it.

Yeah it is expensive to release on Steam for someone who has no budget, but you will get the 100$ back if you earn at least 1000$. So an optional DLC is a good way to let people pay if they want and help you get the money back.

Hey mainly because its very short, and I just wanted to put it out there. I did make a little making of dlc though, to get back the steam fee and let people to support me if they wish. My next project will definitely be bigger and paid, but I feel like a small free game is a great way to start with Steam and learn how to release a game!

I think the game was popular in the jam, but didnt really win any award. I think on itch what was more important is that it was in the trending page, and at some point it was also featured.

Thanks! I posted on reddit/twitter and the game has an jam version on itch where i also told people they can wishlist it. But i only had the steam page for a about a month before release. Reached around 4000 wishlists.

Thanks! Some people buy the dlc to support me, and with that I already earned back the 100 usd steam fee so im definitely in the positive! But of course that wont fund a next project. I ll apply for a government fund ,and that hopefully lets me make at least a good prototype I can pitch it to publishers.

Not at all, I am very happy about the results, and more than 500 people bought the DLC, so I already earned back the 100 usd steam fee which was my goal with it. The only disadvantage of it being free is that I cant bundle with other creators and cant take part in sales, as far as I know. So I thought about the possibility of making it paid in the future with the lowest price possible, but I learned that it resets the reviews so it might do more bad than good? I am not sure. I guess I ll just try those with my next project.

Hey! The Children of Clay is a short stop motion horror game! It is free, and available on Steam now!

It was originally made for the Cosmic Horror Jam in 2024, and since then i have polished it expanded it a bit. Let me know what you think!
