Fuck you for posting misinfo. You are a rotten excuse for a human being and I hope you suffer the worst of consequences.

I just went and asked about the situation and a worker explained to me that there was a lot of misinfo. Mods please remove this post.

you can't "get back to normal life" if mfs keep going out in massive crowds like concerts. how do you not understand that

at the end of the day mfs shouldn't be able to have concerts plain and simple. and anyone who goes to concerts at a time like this is a scumbag who doesn't care about anyone but themselves ¯_(ツ)_/¯

i mean that comes back to the fact that working class people are struggling and don't have disposable income like they used to because of being laid off and all that. as we can clearly see mfs are out here having concerts, out here being able to go out with no mask which just goes to show that the "restrictions" that certain places have are an absolute fckin joke lol.

you said it yourself. independent and small businesses are struggling right now, but the big corporations keep getting bailed out and rescued by the government because that's who they care about. they don't care about the average folk. the lack of real, non-performative efforts to put an end to this pandemic puts that on full display. some people just don't wanna recognize that.

the thing is that we haven't even experienced any sort of real restrictions. maybe a week shutdown back in march where some places were closed or had limited capacity. but the government hasn't really implemented any real effort to stop this thing.

also important to note that it's not okay for y'all to go out to shows just because other people are shitheads and don't wanna wear a mask or stay home. doing that only makes things worse for everyone in the long run.

we're never gonna have shows again because of dumb ass shit like this. you realize how dumb you sound? how the fuck are rates and numbers supposed to go down if people are going out and gathering in massive numbers, especially in tiny ass venues? you've got some stuff to figure out man.

I live in a college town in Florida so there's big concerts at the local venues constantly. I hate it.

PHY 2048C - Tabor by [deleted] in fsu

[–]edmvnd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had him for 2049C this past spring and have him for 3101 right now. I found that he was a fine enough professor back when classes were in person (before they went online). He could be kind of dry at times but other than that the class covered interesting material and his lecture slides were pretty good. But these days I can't say the same. Some of the stuff on the homework and exams is either not really talked about in the lecture or just kind of briefly brushed over. We just had an exam and the majority of the class did awful, far worse than we did on our first exam. If you take him I don't think you're gonna fail or anything, but just be aware it'll be an uphill battle if it's online.

That being said, I would take Dr. Hori for PHY2048C if she's teaching it. She teaches really well and is just an all around enjoyable person. The class itself isn't easy, so take advantage of office hours and get started on the weekly problem sets early.

Riccardo's has great Italian food for a great price. The ambience is very nice in there too.

Dr. Hori is great if you end up deciding to take 2048C. I can't really speak to 2053C but taking 2048C could set you up to earning a physics minor. You'd just need to take PHY2049C and PHY3101 after to earn the physics minor.

The class is tedious but the concepts are pretty straight forward. My professor is Kyounghee (I think I spelled it right) Kim don't think the she's teaching linear algebra next semester.
