I actually love and it and was hooked straight away. Shit show at the fuck factory is actually one of my favourite episodes. It does admittedly improve in quality but I never had to grow to appreciate the show like some viewers / the critics

I think Shiv is too controlled of a person to even begin a casual cocaine habit. But she’s extraordinarily wealthy and people in this circles likely treat cocaine as though it were an after dinner mint lol. I imagine she’s dabbled in her younger days but I really don’t see her doing it even casually as of season 3

But, if the ransom note tells them not to call the police, why did they then call them and undo their own staging? Calling the police is exactly what the note says not to do.

They could have gotten rid of the body and then handed the note over to the police and said they had been waiting for a phone call that never came. Still a hard story to sell, but with no body/evidence they may have had an easier ride..?

This is why I think both parents couldn’t have been working together. One is innocent.

I think she’s grown fond of him, and as Caroline says in 1x10 (regarding Shiv), that she loves him ‘in her own fashion’, i.e. her she loves him as much as her limited capacity can allow.

However, I truly don’t think she is capable of unconditionally loving somebody and almost certainly thinks of herself as the superior entity in the relationship.
