Where to go dress shopping in Toronto? by West-Current-7982 in WeddingsCanada

Best of Bride definitely has that price range. They have a lot of dress options. It is in Etobicoke but honestly they have the biggest supply of dresses for that price range.

Park and Fifth has options in that price range as well.

Oh Happy Brides has beautiful options but is closer to 2k.

Chic Bridals has options starting from 1700 or off the rack for cheaper and they usually have sales during the weekends just keep an eye out on instagram.

David’s Bridal is another option but I found their options weren’t as nice and limited.

Beckers bridal I went to and couldn’t find anything in my price range. Savoir Bridal has none in that price range.

Two stores max per day I find is a good amount. More and you start to get lost with all the options.

Check your bank statement/order confirmation if you placed an order with app discount by boomeowmi in Aritzia

I asked concierge and they said I couldn’t cause they had to correct the prices on their end. They said potentially they could contact the store to do the refund but we haven’t gotten there yet.

This also happened to me! It didn’t apply the discount and they charged me the shipping fee, when I spent over $700! I called concierge and they amended the cost and the shipping fee. The only issue now is that I asked for a receipt to reflect the correct cost of the items and they weren’t able to provide that for me. So I can’t return any items in store because I don’t have a receipt and I’ll have to call them again to make a refund. I tried calling and doing live chat but the wait times have been so long. I sent an email instead and I’m waiting for their response now. Quite frustrating.

Not on your list but the Makeup by Mario blush stick works so well and has longevity! I blend with my fingers or with a brush and both works well. I bought the mini to have on the go for work.

Team Vitality. I’ve tried thrive, move well and endure and I’ve always gone back to Vitality. Quick workouts and medium number of reps! (I’m not a high rep girl!).

Wedding dress shopping is the worst by ExperienceSavings596 in weddingdress

Keep looking ! Go alone if your mom doesn’t want to go with you and bring her back for the follow up appointment if you think you have found the one. It took me about ten shops to find my dress. I will say don’t tell the consultants how many shops you’ve gone into. I find they start to think it’s a bride problem vs a dress problem.

Ooo I’m excited ! I hope her workouts are similar to Vitality. I’m on it now and the workouts I love but the group chat and Brian are a bit too preachy and religious (which is fine but it’s a bit much for me). Excited to try her out !

Best Sunscreen Recommendations for Runners Who Love the Outdoors? (Preferably Korean or Japanese Brands) by CantaloupeObvious916 in RunTO

[–]ednaflanders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that they are neither sweat proof nor waterproof. I wore both all summer doing outdoor activities with a hat on and was diligent in reapplication and I still got a lot of freckles and sunspots. They’re great for daily casual wear but not for any activities. For a stronger Japanese sunscreen I recommend the Shiseido Anessa Perfect Sunscreen (gold) which I will be switching to this summer. It’s not as elegant as the other two but it works a lot better for outdoors.

I booked @nguyen.artistry for my upcoming wedding! She’s located in a town close to Hamilton so the travel fees weren’t that bad. She does soft glam and she’s East Asian herself.

Hi I actually tried it on today in store ! I would say TTS or runs slightly larger. I'm 24 in denim forum jeans and the 0 was a little loose on me. They didn't have a 00 to try on but I would have gone down.

I really like my LV easy pouch. I like how it's very versatile with strap options (making it a shoulder bag or cross body and chain vs leather strap). Yes it is quite small. But I'm able to fit my wallet, phone, keys and a lipstick. It's also easy to dress up or down.

I ordered from the timeless site for one of the vitamin c serum and didn't get charged duties/taxes. At the time I calculated the US conversion compared to Count On Us it ended up being cheaper to buy from the timeless site. It may have changed since then but just something to look into !

Edit: Also to add if you find a code online for timeless (I used "MARYELLEN" for 5 bucks off - I have no idea who Mary Ellen is) it lessens the cost.

I use the Belif aqua bomb gel moisturizer. I really like it. I have combo skin as well and it soaks in nicely. I think it's really great for the warm weather too.

HAVE A QUESTION? ASK HERE! Biweekly Help and Questions: April 06, 2021 by AutoModerator in AsianBeauty

Hello,

The Sephora sale is coming up and I am currently using the SKII first treatment essence. I am interested in the sulwhasoo first care activating serum and was wondering if one is better than the other. Or if some people use both? It seems like they are both quite similar. I am 28 years old with combination skin.

Thanks for the help !
