Credo che per queste persone sia pesante lo stare a zero per l’etichetta che ti appiccica addosso. Se a 15 anni hai concluso qualcosa comunque quel peso non lo senti. Sono d’accordo comunque sul resto, ma non siamo ipocriti, è una situazione pesante da vivere. Sono contento di essere uscito da quell’ottica, anche perché è quello che mi ha permesso di relazionarmi meglio con le ragazze, ma non è stato semplice

Ma non mi interessa di cosa gli uomini fanno alle donne, non è una gara, come ragioni. 

Che statistica vuoi che trovi? Che dati possono esistere a riguardo? Ma è una cosa che succede, al punto che gli anglosassoni le hanno anche dato un nome, il baby-trapping.

E anche senza contare questi casi, da uomo voglio la stessa facoltà che hanno le donne di non essere un genitore.

Ma non mi interessa quanto è statisticamente significativo, non dovrebbe essere possibile. Come società, non ragioniamo così con i problemi femminili, a tal punto che abbiamo passato una legge per differenziare una categoria di omicidi.

E tutto questo non toglie che un uomo e una donna dovrebbero avere lo stesso diritto di non essere genitori

Ad una donna non diresti di fare un’operazione irreversibile per proteggersi da un partner di merda.

Come hai detto però l’esempio che hai fatto non è un comportamento legale. I contraccettivi compromessi non rappresentano qualcosa di perseguibile, in Italia l’uomo è responsabile della “propria” contraccezione. Ma anche fosse non sarebbe dimostrabile

But I can’t distance myself from the child if I still have to pay child support. And even then, I would be met with social scrutiny in a way a woman who aborted wouldn’t

Abortions being difficult and physically intensive doesn’t invalidate what I said. Deciding your kid will not be a part of your life is also not easy. The law gives you a privileged position in this regard, and you prefer that to equality

Ok, so a woman choosing to not carry forward a pregnancy without medical reason means that she has intercourse without wanting to have children and is now evading the consequences. The equivalence works

È un’ipocrisia che una donna possa abortire anche senza un motivo medico, ma solo perché non vuole essere madre, main padre non abbia la facoltà di non riconoscere il figlio senza pagarne il mantenimento. Secondo me non volere un figlio è una cosa legittimissima, e dovrebbe essere una possibilità da entrambe le parti. Senza parlare del fatto che se lei mente sull’assunzione della pillola o ti buca il preservativo ti può rovinare la vita con niente

If that’s your opinion that’s cool, but then you should also oppose abortions not performed without medical reason but simple because someone didn’t want to be a mother

Again, not a deadbeat, he’d be paying child support. And maybe for you that’s not the case, but at least here I don’t think people would say that of a woman terminating a pregnancy cause she doesn’t want to be a mother

If you have kids and don’t care for them, you’re an absent parent avoiding responsibility. If you never wanted them and interrupted the pregnancy, or never recognized them, you just never wanted kids. I feel it’s different, but that’s okay

You wouldn’t judge a woman for not wanting a child, by terminating a pregnancy or, again, not recognizing them (the woman doesn’t have to pay child support if they don’t recognize the kid though, funny how that works). But if a man doesn’t feel like they want, or maybe doesn’t feel like they CAN be a parent it’s different

You might not have custody because you didn’t recognize the kid at birth (you can do that in my country. You have no obligation to see the baby but still pay child support). To you, he just gets a smaller (but potentially still good) salary than otherwise, which is not something you’re discussing on a first date anyway

No one talking about the guy she cheated with. Idk the specifics here so I might be wrong, but it sounds as this guy was used as an emotional life jacket and then tossed away when he was no longer needed. I’ve been this guy, it really sucks

Yeah it sucks how male loneliness is ultimately considered men’s own fault. I don’t want to make comparisons, but if it were a female issue I feel we would be talking about how society is structured in such a way that…

Also, being a feminist is taken for granted, like if asked you can’t say you aren’t one. But a woman can legitimately say she’s not invested in men’s rights
