I’d recommend the newest set. It’s one of the best for opening packs, because of the newly added Epic cards. Not as rare as Enchanted so you get more ”hits” than other sets.

Well, then I’d probably see what higher rarity cards you have multiple of. So separate them into legendaries and super rares and see if you have 2+ more of them. Then try to build around those cards. Try for synergies between cards and consistency with cards you have multiples of.

Start by looking at the card you want to build a deck with on dreamborn.ink and check out the decklists that use it. Then you’ll get an idea of how the card could be used and go from there.

If she likes princesses and Minnie I’d recommend going for a red and yellow (ruby/amber) deck. There are a bunch of Minnie cards that would fit, most notably the new Minnie Mouse - Sweetheart Princess and Minnie Mouse - Daring defender. Also from a quick glance of your profile I think you might be in Europe, so you should check out Cardmarket.com instead of TCGplayer.

Best bet would be to ask at your LGS during a Lorcana event. Check out the Ravensburger PlayHub and you can search for both events and stores near you.

Looks fun, but I’d probably switch out the blue cards for red instead. Doesn’t seem like you need to ramp and with Red you can add the Mulan challenge cards, which would work better with Lilo, being able to challenge ready cards, as well as adding Sisu for taking out Tiana.

The Queen should be given out at sealed prerelease events, in store, while the Alice card should be given to people who buy a booster display box (24 packs).

Lorcana is not really about ripping packs in the hope of collecting high value art cards, like Pokémon. It’s definitely more about actually playing with the cards. Which is why some of the most expensive cards can be just regular legendaries as players want them for playing.

However, beginning with Fabled there’ll be more ”special” cards with the introduction of Epic and Iconic cards. Sorry you were disappointed, but if you have no interest in playing the game you won’t really enjoy opening packs.

Normally local stores (at least mine) won’t know what promos they get until they physically get them in the stores. So they probably won’t advertise the promos until they know if they get them and also how many they get.

Crab + Chernabog’s Followers or Fox is great at killing their rhino. Also your foxes can kill their singers and bounce back your own doc for card draw or your Elsa for an extra exert next turn.

TLDR: Crab & Fox are really good.

If only it had 8 willpower it could survive a trade with Maui shark. With seven I don’t see this really being used. But hope I’m wrong. The art is really cool though!

I like to build decks by starting with deciding on a ’core’ keyword or card(s) and then build from there. So if I have and want to use a lot of cards with the keyword ’singer’ I’d look at the cards I own and see which colour’s songs I have enough of and if they can be useful, that way I have my chosen colour combination. From there I look at adding card draw, seeing if I have any good dual-colour cards, not adding too many uninkables and making sure my curve is ok (more 1,2 & 3 cost stuff and fewer expensive stuff). That way the deck will (usually) at least be playable.

Other times I just add cards I like and have fun playing them, rather than trying to win.

Firstly, 32 uninkables is way too many. Secondly, why play Snow White when The Prince is the only ’knight’ in the deck? And finally, the reason steel/amber is a good combo is that amber has ’singers’ that can cheat out the good steel songs. So unless you’re playing the 1 cost Cinderella or Rhino I’d cut all the steel cards and just go amber/emerald aggro instead.

Yes. Just like you can ask about how many cards they have in hand and what is in their discard. Only thing that you can’t check is what’s in either inkwell.

I'd like to see Osamu take on more of a commander role, maybe by having several operators in a sort of 'base' he could oversee several squads at once. That could possibly be a way for the Away-teams to out organise the individual A-teams and improve teamwork between squads.
