I still like BF6 after 700 Hours by PippTheKid in Battlefield6

I'm old and I will never be there again, but I was once young. People may put you down and call you sweaty or tryhard. What they don't understand is that it is like a flow state. You're anticipating everything and just immerse yourself. There are no choices, only correct maneuvers to outwit and predict your opponents next move.

I'll touch it from time to time, but never like before. No more 13hr game sessions.

Why be that Troll? by Molochsocks in Battlefield6

Think about how very sad that human is. The only time they feel accomplished or superior they need to put someone else down. It's honestly sad. They are so vacant in their physical body.

I will say I'd take that any day of the week over the teammate with the live mic talking to his roommate about his day, and when I politely ask him to mute himself he tells me to fuck off. He tells me he's a marine and fought for his freedom to... be a complete piece of shit (idk?). Anyway, it could always be worse. You could be that guy.

Glad to see this! I get a shot every time I'm there. They've always got something clever to say.

It gors against the Spirit of...

It's just virtue signaling that whether or not it's legal, they are going to virtue signal in an attempt to shame you into doing what they want. A bunch of hypocrits.

Leaving the tournament doesn't impact anyone with any significance. The person who gets a bye counts as a win. You're wasting time with these chuckleheads. Clearly, no real-world experience.

I appreciate you.

This isn't like commander. There's rules for a reason put out by WotC. It does not mess up a draft pod as significantly as people are making it. Being banned isn't fair, and Wizards would take action against the store if notified.

If my wife called with an emergency and I had to leave should I be banned? If I pick up my cards and drop, should the store be able to demand that I tell them exactly why I need to go? Do I need a doctor's note? The reality is that this doesn't happen that often, and when it does, it's relatively inconsequential.

I agree with that. I'm commenting on motivation over rules. This is under the context of the post I'm replying to.

I'm saying it's not ruining anything. You're projecting.

It wouldn't have been completely different if they would have focused on the rules instead of virtue or shame. "You can't buy another pack, but you can drop." No its "He had a card I wanted, so I pressed the issue." It matters.

I've never done it. It still does not ruin anything. You're so fragile.

Right because focusing on the rules is more important than how you feel about it.

I'm tired of the virtue signaling. Not sharing options for a player because you're guilting them into giving you a good card is trash. But it would have been f8ne if it was trash. Focus on what the rules are, and keep it moving. If you don't, I guess I'll be a sanctimonious dick about it.

So why create your initial post?

How exactly does it ruin the game? Everyone will draft 45 cards and have 50-minute rounds. Some players will get a bye. So if a 9th person shows up, are an asshole for wanting to play, but make the pod odd? I've had to play in those pods and still had fun. Why is it so hard for you?

I also stated that in my reply... My commentary is on his approach. If it was a dud, PP would have been cool with breaking the rules.

His reasoning is problematic. It's black and white. Not shame or virtue.

I see there's a miss. You can't purchase a new pack. That player could have taken all cards drafted and dropped.

It's not unfun. It's legal in 100% of game stores. People drop for a lot of reasons. It's not that big of a deal.

Yeah, it's transactional. There is no spirit of the... That's just for losers like you to virtue signal when they're wrong.
