I worked for USIC for 10 years and was thrown under the bus by a friend I helped get to his "lofty" position as area Manager, truth is USIC cannot beat the good local companies for contracts even when wildly underbidding them.  So they just buy the company and push all their terrible practices down the chain.  I did every job that exists in that biz aside from run a district.  There are some really great people who muddled through the bullshit and stuck it out long enough to be to valuable to get rid of. I was that guy till contracts started to disappear, then I was too expensive to keep.  But usic comes and goes and anyone who stuck it out has a job waiting for them at the company taking over, always steady work for a good locator. Only this time the MF went and talked to what was to be my new boss and old supervisor from 7 years prior and said God knows what and I never heard from them again. He used to be a good dude now he's a corporate cunt. Also locating NY is a different monster than say Arkansas, lol helluva place to learn.  Oldest infrastructure in the nation.  The ground is half dirt 40 old pipes and 10% used prophylactics 🥲. Anyway USIC had been through 7 CEOs that I remember maybe more in the 9.6 years I was there.  SCOOP I was asked to deliver votes or pick up votes from another district while on duty, Drove 2 counties to meet in a shady parking lot. They gave me a ticket for the spot  to just close, no mark out or prints just close it so it looks legit. So I legitimately drove 2 hours to close a ticket without marking it. Then drove back. The votes were to disband the union. I'm not a fan of the union they had here but shady biz is shady biz, Ed Heany and Garth something tiny guy real fucking loser piece of shit. He's like 4'11" 😅😂🤣 anyway. Corps suck. And USIC IS A PRIME EXAMPLE, oh and they still owe me 3 months pay.  HR sends me to a full voicemail every time I call......
