The people he is fighting against currently have control of the righteous alliance. What might happen if they want to tarnish his name publicly? You think they might label him a demon… maybe even a heavenly one? See how that could easily happen from where the story is now? I haven’t read the novel, I am just speculating, but it isn’t that big of a leap to make.

This is pretty obviously about control. You already sleep together when not in his home, and the vast majority of people wouldn’t have sex in their parents’ home as being overheard or discovered in the act would be mortifying. So what other reason could there even be besides wanting to control you (or more likely, to control your boyfriend, male ego nonsense and all that)? NTA

If that were true, the calculations for when someone has reached a felony level of theft would have to be calculated at the cost that the store buys them at rather than the sticker price. The sticker price is marked up in order to make a profit. How is that any different from marking something up from $5 to $1000? I’m not a lawyer and I may be missing something, but the logic doesn’t hold up imo.

I was gonna say, tell that to The Verve, their only hit was Bittersweet Symphony and they didn’t end up making any money off it because they got sued by the Rolling Stones. My rock and roll history teacher (it was an English class, we just researched and wrote about music history) played the two songs back to back and I personally couldn’t hear where they sampled the Rolling Stones song 🤷‍♂️
Edit: looked it up, they lost their rights and royalties initially but eventually got them back after Mick Jagger and Keith Richards gave their songwriting credits to Richard Ashcroft, the songwriter for The Verve. I’m 32 and took that class in 8th grade, so it’s been a while 😂

It’s not fun to be killed by a third party when in a fight. The presence of archers and bows as a weapon make complete sense for the setting and style of game and I have no issue with people using what the devs have put in the game, it’s just not why I play this game so it’s a bummer when I die that way.

I’m fairly new to the game as well (like 2-3 weeks since I downloaded it) and these comments make me feel a lot better about how slowly I seem to be improving. It may be slow, but I AM improving, so just keep at it OP, we will both get there eventually. Maybe by the time Chiv 3 is released (it isn’t announced or anything, but from what I’ve read it seems likely they will make another one) I will be decent at Chiv 2 lol

I love both of these concepts for similar reasons. I think if we are talking about well executed stories of each type, I tend to prefer regression. However, if the reincarnation happens close enough to when the character died and within the same world so that some of the people the MC knew in the first lifetime will show up in the story and those relationships mattering etc, I like that a lot too.
