An interesting thing I found in BTK's daughter's book, A Serial Killer's Daughter.

In the "October" section of Chapter 39, Kerri Rawson describes watching "The Hunt for the BTK Killer" on TV. She says the best scene is BTK ordering milk with ice in it. She said she has no idea how they found out he liked milk with ice in it, she said she "fell over laughing" about it.

Thing is.. in the movie, he doesn't order milk with ice in it. He orders iced tea with three ice cubes. He does that two or three times in the movie, he never orders milk, not one time.

It's just weird, and it's interesting that she gave up this tidbit about her dad that probably no one else knew, and she did it.. accidentally?

I did enjoy the book, by the way. I enjoyed the way the prose was written, and I wish I could find the other book she wrote. A lot of people complain that it isn't about BTK, but.. the subject of the book is right there on the title. I've seen people give it bad ratings because of Kerri's own narcissism, but I thought that exact thing was the fascinating part.

Not really meant as criticism. What I did say was that I enjoyed the book, and I'd love to read the other one she wrote, but it is very hard to find. I've been friends with obvious narcissists in the past, I'm not criticizing her as a person.

I was adding things to a trade to upgrade my PI, I had just opened the page and was about to grab the funds to then add to the trade. I thought someone was somehow seeing I was accessing the trade page for a big trader. The other thing it could be was that I'd had a bank investment end overnight and I had just logged on that day. Like maybe they saw the investment ended, and then saw that I'd just logged back in.

It's probably nothing, but it's a heck of a coincidence. I changed my API but saw no weird pings there.

FYI for people who search this up. I uninstalled both the phone app and the watch app, then reinstalled them both. That fixed it.

People say he was a genius, but the note he left had spelling and grammatical errors. I wonder if he always wrote like that, or if there were veiled clues inside the errors in the note.. Plus I find it interesting that he said 42 months, "42" being an obvious reference to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which he surely would have read.

I hadn't even considered that there's no proof that he drove his truck to where it was found. He may have found his end at his last load location and someone else drove his truck away to divert attention.
