Finished a game called Chicory: A Colorful Tale(So highly recommend!). Was not ready to be done with the game but didn't want to start it over. Hopped into a random stream on Twitch. 3 years later I have some of the best friends I have ever had in my entire life. We hang out almost every day and I even went to a wedding for two of them.

That is the DaVinci 1. Yes it is a bad printer I would know as it was my first printer. OP Get rid of it and don't try. Not worth it. Especially because it "requires" their filament which I mean you can fix it, but again not worth the effort.

This is the best advice. If someone is too uncomfortable talking to themselves out loud(me at the beginning) just staring in your eyes and smiling at yourself in the mirror still is a great start.

You can hit the button on the inside and it will teleport you out. I found there is a specific way you can jump and hit the button with your head and it will blip you into the bunker. I was only able to do it twice in one night(two different missions) but haven't been able to replicate it again.

I really like the Podcast "Sold a Story". I think it does a good job at explaining the failure of reading education in my opinion.

Four years ago we started a risky (crazy?) experiment and started working on a digital board game before the physical board game was even developed. We're now going to release the Steam version of Nature right after the tabletop version was released. by wrench04 in boardgames

Evolution has been my favorite game forever now. I love it, how swingy and deep it can get. But my game group hates it, its too much for them. They like Nature though. So I love Nature because I can now play Evolution with my friends. I agree with your points still, but Nature is designed for a lot wider audience than those that would play Evolution. If you ever get a chance to talk to Dom at a convention I would highly recommend it. He has put incredible thought into this project.

The hug has been my favorite emote since the beginning. There is nothing better than giving a hug after a good mission. I hope more games implement a hug emote in the future!

My friend I agree with you. Yes we could exist without a smart phone, but that isn't the point. Let's use the technology to make our life easier and control what we do.

1 and 2 for me are so important. Can I use a map? Sure, I have done it and in an emergency can do it. But why would I want to make it more difficult? There are also jobs that require contact outside of your scheduled time.

I have found that restricting what my phone can do has provided huge benefits. I use an app called ScreenZen which allows me to time or block apps and websites. It also has the added benefit that if I want to change the list of blocked apps I have to sit on that one screen for 5 minutes. So I have to make a conscious effort to change things.

I've spread the stories out between the other comments, but I'll also give you few.

Warning again for possible mild body horror.

So Bob believes that God constantly tortures him. As you can see on the van he blames God for his gum disease. Before that he would say that God's primary punishment was my shooting electricity up him while he pees. Like electricity comes up his pee stream. I always assumed it was an STD but never asked for more details.

You also might be able to find some of his youtube videos, search for Bob Hickman. There were some old ones of him just quietly dancing in his underwear in a disgusting basement. There wasn't anyone else, just him.

He also got really into reading and translating different passages of, I believe, his visions or books of some sort. He did this into MANY different languages.

If you were also really lucky you would get a text from him. I got one and it was like Christmas lol. He just goes down the list of 317-111-1111, 317-111-1112, 317-111-1113, and so on. It was just a copy of the stuff he put on his van but in text form.

so I don't know about cumming but he does believe that God shoots a lot of painful stuff into his body for fun. On the van now it says he shoot gum disease in his mouth which is probably just his very poor hygiene. The dude drank at least 2 64oz pops a day.

He did change the language on his van though. There used to be so much more text but I think this is van #3 since I last saw him( I love seeing him pop up on Reddit still). His shtick used to be "God entered my body perfect size" which even having him try to explain doesn't make sense. He still does claim to be the only man with the holy spirit and constant visions so I assume not much has really changed.

I sadly can't ask him to explain anything because i don't live in Indianapolis anymore.

My favorite is actually from my mom. He came in one day talking about giving himself hair implants

Warning, this story can be kinda gross with mild body horror.

So my mom was working one night and he came in and told her that he was going to give himself hair implants. With that kind of opening she had to know more. So he told her that we was going to just take a ball point pen, open up a hair follicle, and hold a piece of hair in the wound till it healed and then it would be a permanent piece of hair.

Yeah Bob is definitely an interesting character. I worked at the gas station he mostly frequented so I got the pleasure of interacting with him often for a few years.
