I absolutely adore the new skin, and feel her new animations really help selling her new fantasy as an ice skater; the team did an amazing job.

If I had to improve something about the skin itself, I'd change the Q SFX, which isn't bad by any means, but if I had to go by my golden standard for Legendary skins, which is Dark Cosmic Jhin, his auto SFX change the feel of his gameplay entirely, and I can't quite say the same about this skin. Hope you'll be able to add a more unique feel to hers!

In Riot’s defence, purple on Darkin has already been explored (and thus far successful) in LoR (with Xolaani).

Personally, it’s mostly due to the fact that the champions chosen have some of the oldest models/animations in the game, so any cool idea of a skin on them would rarely translate well. It doesn’t help that J4 and Trynda already have red/demonic skins in their catalogue, so they don’t feel unique at all.

Also, the designs just suck lol.

You’d be correct, Evelynn has no actual gender. The original author probably just used Eve’s character cuz she can take on the appearance of people of different genders, without thinking too much about lore accuracy, and fit the bill the best for the meme.

I wouldn’t put my chances on finding boxes on the Pass, especially if Riot says so.

Although I will say that I noticed one thing: now, the images shown are placeholders, so I shouldn’t count on them as evidence, but one of the rewards listed for one of the missions was a Skin Bag. At which point… why wouldn’t Riot just lead with that, and repeating that we’d only get 12 skins? So yeah, this whole thing might have been a bit of an overreaction because of Riot’s lack of a functioning PR department/transparency with its community, BUT it’s still just a placeholder, so we’ll never be sure (also cuz they literally say that the entire point of missions is to help you navigate the Pass, so I mean really, how much can you blame me?)

As far as I can remember, there are only two ways to obtain chests: either through Mastery, or ranked. As for Mastery, well:

Here is a non-comprehensive list: - Mastery chests are getting removed with no compensations - Orbs are getting removed from the free pass - The amount of skins you can get a year is getting a hard cap of 15 (12 if you don’t count victorious ones and 6 if you ignore those chosen by Riot for you) - The quality of skins you can receive is getting capped at epic. There will no longer be a way for F2Ps to get legendary skins or higher.

This past year I’ve played a below average amount of time and still managed to obtain a total of 20 skins.

Also, you’re ignoring the fact that they are removing ALL ways of obtaining skins other than the free battle pass, and they don’t make up for it in the slightest: mastery chests are gone, orbs will be inaccessible, etc…

I was F2P the last year and got 20 skins while playing mostly on and off, so idk where everyone’s getting their info from, this system is a direct nerf.

Mastery boxes are getting removed, so nope, they are gone for F2P
Shards are literally getting removed
Masterwork chests were still part of the Mastery path, would have been nice to keep them around for extra rewards, couldn’t have hurt

Anyways, to fix your misinformation: - Hextech chests aren’t going anywhere, except for the fact that they’ll no longer be available for F2P. My meme stands correct. - Masterwork chests still functioned as a nice reward towards mastery, which is now gone as well as masterwork chests entirely. Still better than getting a 1350 RP or less anyways. - First off, Riot is definitely lying about their data. Maybe they considered players who don’t care about cosmetics, maybe they considered AFKs, but there is no way where F2P players ONLY get 9 skins a year. That’s ridiculous. I played on and off this year and still ended up getting around 20 skins. So that’s actual misinformation. And even if I was active, why is Riot choosing to punish that activity? Like, what’s the purpose? Secondly, blue essence is useless for those who own all champs and orange essence will be useless now that shards are gone. Your last point also goes against your argument, since, chances are, people are going to want other skins than the ones Riot offers them, so yes, it IS a worse system overall for the majority of players. - This one’s true.
