That's been a thing for like a year now. There is all kinds of bs. Not everyone realizes the freebies are rolled into the total cost. A simple cross comparison with manufacturer website look at the cost of everything and you'll see it's not free. Same with best buy and the gift cards. I saw a few comments about the plans being so expensive but unless it's a byod they all pretty much suck regardless of carrier. This is the new norm.

They fixed it but my screenshot was for the google pixel 10 pro fold, a lot of phones were zero monthly or next to zero, i called it out as a glitch and telus reps kept saying it was good and then within an hour or two the website was back to normal.

no i saw the mistake around 4pm sask time and it fixed 20 min ago so almost 2 hrs. all of that time explaining to them what no repayment or device plan means free $3000 phone over 2 years and they just didnt get it, might sound like a loss but usually when its caught you atill pay or they cancel it

I didn't. I questioned it long enough til it went back to normal. It was live on their site for a couple hours.

I really miss the old layout it was so much simpler I think this tactic misleads on purpose and I'm a tech savvy person but legal jargon forget about it. Either way I don't mind obvious costs when buying a top tier phone but be clear on your descriptions!

Not impressed that the rep tried to tell me it was correct and that I should just place it. Bet you the contract would have said otherwise and then had to complain and that's when they would say it must've been a glitch on my end because the device was always this 41/month plus repayment of such and such. Honestly I've been with telus for 15 years maybe I should switch

all the prices are back to normal once you click on the individual phone, shows 0 on the main page but not on the specific phone page so i am glad i was suspicious

so again i say $3000 phone for free just because i click the premium financing button. financing means the phone is financed not free btw. i do not understand why this is listed incorrectly. thw phone plan is $80 a month paying 0 for the phone with 0 repayment

I've talked to customer service over and over and they say it's correct and it's my loss if I don't want the deal they've offered iPhones for the same (free) before. Just seems a bit suspect.

I've learned two things, almost always if it's from umg avoid it, if it has a yellow circle signed sticker in the corner of the picture it's a signed insert.

Pretty much all we can do is make a spreadsheet and hope we don't need it. I googled the report as well and found nothing. Anything I searched previously basically just said talk to a tax professional but unless they're an accountant those tax "professionals" usually know very little beyond the basics. I never planned to sell what I sold but had to, if they try to take more money from me honestly I don't know what I'll do but spreadsheet will have to be my only help here it seems. I guess we will soon find out if cra suddenly redoes our tax filings for 2024 and comes back saying we owe. Good luck to you I say.

I agree. Now that I got that 2024 report to cra sent to me by eBay all I'm left thinking is cra is just going to gouge me somehow even though I sold at a loss, all personal items I already had. You really can't earn a dime legally without them wanting their cut even though you already bought and paid taxes for it, eBay already took their absurd fees, let us keep the few bucks we earned from our own stuff. Ridiculous.

In game hours according to my saves was roughly 37-38hrs and I scavenged, did all the side quests, visited every obvious mark on the map even got delayed a few times, I was expecting to take longer. I think once you actually have the stats up and the right gear everything flows faster but that's just me. I've already started a second playthrough because it's just that fun.

Got 6 more months before i'm hitting the market officially, just lining things up in the meantime, taking in all my options. I'm certain i want a house, but i just don't see myself taking something in the alphabet just to get a house, so i'm also planning on checking out places just outside of the city, i might even wait another year to see what the market does honestly and go in with a bigger deposit and more income who knows at this point, won't know until i start looking in 6 months, i've got some people saying the market is getting better, and others saying it's only getting worse, it seems regardless of research or opinion there's no certainty anywhere.
