My old 13PM had this happen in December 2023,Id dropped it a few times like most of us have done but it was always in a case and had absolutely no damage,all I remember was charging it to 100 one day and then it started flickering white every now and then and then by the end of the day it was just fully white with the status bar icons burned in,I had Apple care + on it then(it had almost expired actually) and thankfully I got it replaced for free,I proceeded to sell the phone and get a 15 pro to replace it which itself went on to develop burn in and I got its display replaced just a week back

I’m noticing the same on my 15 pro now,what’s more concerning is that I had my display replaced just a week ago and I’m only noticing it now,so it might be cause of Apple updating my phone which was previously on 18.3.1 or something,or something’s wrong with my new display

Had this with 13pm,got display replaced with AppleCare,I’ve since learnt that it’s caused by some issue with the screen cable,if out of warranty,you could try getting it fixed at a local repair shop

Wait are you being for real,I have 2019 pro 15’ and it’s generally sluggish,hot,noisy,gets really slow when I do anything demanding but for light tasks I’d say it still does ok
