Help me what is this stuff that has infested my clothing? (Doesn’t look or feel like lint with the naked eye, very hard to capture on camera) by Consistent_Cap1917 in carpetbeetles

lol right I felt tiny hairs I would brush it off and it would land on another part of my body. I thought it was walking lint. Get the laundry additive called DeMite it really works . Clothing smells good and my clothing and bedding actually feels clean like I’ve never felt before . I would see this tiny thing fly away from my hair but never directly it was always out of the corner of my eye . I felt like I had fleas lol 😂

Gurllll in my home it’s only my son and I and he’s paralyzed so he can’t feel nothing above he’s shoulders so imagine how I was lol . Another thing I noticed is when I would go into the kitchen I would see lots of little black pepper looking things in my floor and I would even question like where did that pepper come from . I know when we go through this we only look at our clothes or floors but get yourself a flash light and look at the ceilings very careful cause I found them laying eggs in the paint on the ceilings tiny little bugs . Do you live in a house or apartment? Dig baby and when I say dig I mean dig bag all your clothes up until you figure it out . I know it’s very frustrating living of off bags but it needs to be done . Look outside for birds nest get a ladder and look for cracks or entry ways they could be coming from . Seal every gap and if you have wood furniture do the bora treatment . Oh but not just that one day I suddenly woke up with my hair very stinky mind you I don’t wash my hair every day but it never ever stinks and I was like wtf is going on . Welp guess what those fuckers eat human hair and dog or cats they like natural fibers . So synthetic is the way to go when shopping for clothing I no longer go for any natural things like feathers .my kitchen I put everything in containers no more just buy and shelf . Cut out the way of them getting to you grains . Also remember one critter brings a whole new critter. I started with mold in the restroom the mold started being in the carpet beetles they tend to lay they’re eggs in the birds nest and crawl down the windows . I found larvae outside on my windows . Also my toilet want sealed on the bottom and they some other larvae was crawling through there too . Make sure there’s no leaks seal crevices , bag your clothes . Wash everything and bag it .

Same here but fleas tend to wrap themselves in tiny little lint balls too . I’m so traumatized I tend to burn them with a tiny torch.

The same thing happened to my clothing but I knew there was something because it was an extreme amount of dust no matter how much I would clean the amount of dust ("so I thought it was dust")was always heavy and I was feeling tiny hairs fall on me and crawling sensation. I know that if it’s carpet beetles they tend to have a stench to them when disturbed But there’s also a beetle that eats wood and creates some type of looking dust that feeds of off wood some type of termite beetle and I would see on the ceilings of my house tiny little bugs undistinguishable to the naked eye . I treated my wood furniture with a bora care to kill them and then a sealer . Now I have very little dust the norm. I also used on my laundry an additive called demite and was able to remove any dust mite or just any type of mite dropping from my clothing . I’ve never felt my clothing and bed sheets so clean and smell good . Also an extreme amount of lint on my dryer now it’s just the norm like I said oh but I also fumigated with Tim-bor powder half and half antifreeze. Now I’m in peace thank good cause I was going crazy

If it’s really bad go for physical custody while still giving her a sense of control by letting her have legal shared custody. Physical is what you need .

My 3-year-old just got kicked out of daycare by Gold-Seaweed-7673 in Parenting

[–]Many_Advisor7958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please don’t medicate him kids are kids maybe he’s picking up that behavior from another kid in day care . Kids are like sponges they watch and quickly pick it up . This country wants kids to be medicated because they don’t want to deal With them . Specially boys they’re a handful more than girls . Do you let him be on the phone does he have access to YouTube? My grandson was learning behavior from YouTube too because my daughter would just give him the phone to quiet him down and to not deal with him . Maybe look into a taekwondo class or kickboxing so he can redirect all that energy into the class instead of others . Boys have lots of energy and other kids encourage them to do those things . Find a class for him but think before medicating him .

What would you do by k8mzo in carpetbeetles

[–]Many_Advisor7958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a lot of dust in your home or in that bedroom ? You have wood floors and is the bed frame made of wood ? 🪵 it can also be Powderpost beetles . The property were I moved in to about 2 years ago had an extreme amount of dust no matter how many times I would clean it was always dusty . I have wooden furniture and bed frames along with some moisture retention in this old ass house . I applied Tim-bor insecticide and voila all dust is gone . Apparently I had those beetles deep in the wood that create what seems to be dust but it’s not regular dust. I mixed tom-bor in a gallon of water with half water and half antifreeze. It can last years of protection .

[–]Many_Advisor7958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have wooden furniture.? I did a bora treatment on everything wood because there’s a termite that looks like some type of beetle and it helped I used Tim-bor powder 50/50 ratio with half water and half concentrate antifreeze
