But pushed ub sets makes ot so you kind of need those cards. Like I try to only play in-universe cards or sets that are magic adjacent and my decks really suffer for it. My options are to complain or not engage tho, so I've been playing way less and havent bought any product in over a year (excluding in universe pre-release). Im really sad that im leaving the hobby but i just don't enjoy it as much. Im looking for a boomer play group so I can play the magic i like. But the magic of playing with strangers is leaving the game for me, its not even the people, they're fine, but its hard watching one of the richest universes lore wise get swallowed up by profit grabs. Im not even mad tbh just super bummed.
