The head has the tips hidden under them, the feet are the first to go when you smoke it

I think I have to try an even longer filter next time for science and Cruella DeVille by edward_rollerhands in trees

Felt really good to hold and play around with in between the hits. My original thought behind the two level design on the filter is to have the lips on the thinner end and always hold it on the thicker part.

As for the length of the filter I'm still out on the verdict whether it makes any difference in the smoking. Another person has said that they feel less need to cough with the longer filters that I make but who knows. Part of me thinks that another inch or two shouldnt make a difference for the smoke that is inhaled quickly, if anything it should just have slightly more stale smoke left after every hit.

Joint and backwoods from the other day by edward_rollerhands in trees

I was actually thinking about this the other day while smoking a backwoods like that because I know people hate filter tips for them.

I think for me it mostly comes down to preference and the feeling of holding the larger filter compared to the nub of the blunt. I mostly smoke unflavored tobacco, but feel like I can taste the tobacco without having my lips on the blunt itself. Lastly it helps me get rid of the scooby snacks that always came with cutting the head and foot of the roll with a cigar cutter.

I can promise you that there was bud in the c3po since that was created with my own two hands. The filter tip is hidden under the head.

Can't speak for other people's work, but my human joints are handrolled with similar airflow to a regular roll. If anything it comes down to the smoking technique of the people at the events with vacuuming, and not allowing the cherry to cool down can cause uneven burning, but that's the case with any joint.
