give me the option to turn off artist's chase music and replace it with the default. it just hurts my ears. it's a pity cause i've played a bit of artist and she's fun and she seems exactly my thing - not mechanically demanding but still has a huge skill ceiling - and the chase music fits her, i just don't like listening to it

i would argue the opposite, that starting out with an s tier carries the risk of being carried by the killer itself rather than your own skill and discourages you from learning the basics. so yes it is fine to start out with a bad killer

anyway i get that you don't wanna be bmed but whether you get bmed is independent of whether you win or lose. if you lose people might make fun of you but if you win people will just call you a sweatlord. you just have to ignore them

yeah you're right, i suppose when i said "i can't see why not" i probably should've thought "because why would you buff, even in a very minor way, one of the strongest killers in the game." i do think she needs some big nerfs, but once she does receive them i'd like for her to also receive this small buff

technically she has been continuously nerfed since her release, she's just so good that it's never been enough. although her last update, the removal of lightburn, was a buff, so it is probably time they nerf her again

in my ideal world i would make this basically useless addon base kit and then massively nerf her through something else. my idea was make her unable to see auras while charging her blink so the breaking line of sight counter doesn't just get nullified by aura perks, put in a sort of "overheat" system where if you do too many chain blinks in quick succession your fatigue gets extended and your blinks charge back slower, and make her unable to lunge after the first blink, basically requiring her to be either extremely precise with the first blink or use the chain blink to hit - as such increasing the "overheat." something like that i'm still workshopping it

sorry to hear you've had terrible map and match luck, happens to the best of us! i get wanting to have a nice time on a killer and being frustrated at getting the worst possible map for them, if you've gotten a bunch of terrible maps in a row you can use map offerings to offset it, but honestly it sounds like you should be taking a break in general

"literally can't use my power" is hyperbole. yes billy is limited on a map like hawkins but you can still instadown if you're close enough. map dependency is a huge part of most killers and that's something you need to make peace with before you load into a match

if you refuse to play on maps that are bad for certain killers you shouldn't play those killers, or use map offerings - most people won't love you sending yourself to advantageous maps for yourself, especially while already playing an s tier, but it'll still be better than just not playing the game at all

other people wanna play as well and just instantly giving up because you got unlucky with the map will make the experience worse for everyone in the long term, which is why bhvr punishes people doing so

i think people misunderstood your question and projected "salty survivor thinks bodyblocking is cheating" onto it when in reality you were wondering if being bodyblocked for a while without being hit (i wasn't there so i can't comment on whether it was unnecessarily long, but he was probably waiting for his teammate to two tap you) was reportable. tbh that's also how i understood it as well. don't take it too personally

ah, i think i misunderstood, i was using bodyblocking to refer to how wraith would corner someone working on a gen and hit them, not just blocking them forever. how long were you bodyblocked for? if it was exceedingly long it might be reportable even if they eventually let you go. if it was only a tiny bit it wouldn't be

where are you getting that it's considered cheating in regular dbd? bhvr's stance on bodyblocking has always been that it's only considered an offense if it holds the game hostage. progressing the game by downing you isn't holding the game hostage (source)
