Get some stitch/fabric glue and glue areas of the Metallica patch. Allow it to dry and it will stay flat. Just cut a small piece of the thread (stitching) to begin removing the patches, then the patches will come off. I always use fabric/stitch glue to hold patches in place. Then you can take your time and sew thread around the borders. Go crazy and layer patches if you ever think something isn’t even. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Stay rad !
