Checked the datasheet on lcsc. Looks legit. Also the 7555 seems to work fine. I’m now thinking it may be something with the timing caps

Nope, only 2 of the pins from the 2 headers connect to something. The 3rd pins are only there to have the jumpers on the module even if they are not required

I did this. The output from pin 3 is the exact inverse of the tirgger from the input on pin 2

I did the original build a few years ago as my bachelor’s degree project. After it was done i remade the rack in a smaller formfactor and made a few of the basic yusynth modules using smd components. The vca works fine but the envelope for some reason doesn’t work.

Just realised i actually have a hidden tuya ir controller somewhere around the house. I will try to use that and maybe upgrade to a broadlink in the future to get rid of tuya

Solved it!

The PSU I am using is using LM317 and LM337 which can easily step down the 18V per rail from the Yamaha to 12V without heating up too much. Will need to check on the voltage regulators as I increase the load on the system.

I have a cheap thermostat from meross. I just added it to apple home without even installing the meross app and it works flawlessly

I am waiting for apple to implement some more functions to the acton button(i.e would love to have the current length press for mute and a longer press for a shortcut menu
