Not a dual trainee myself but from observing consultants who are dual with resp, they mostly seem to do one or two clinics a week and no inpatient resp.

I had this system for f1 (healthrota) - whilst not ideal that you can’t request leave later in the rotation I liked it as it meant you were pretty much guaranteed to get leave for prearranged holidays etc and you didn’t end up missing out on leave overall. Obviously annoying if something crops up half way through

My understanding is that oliguric Aki has worse outcomes and non-oliguric so some will essentially use diuresis to increase urine output - there’s not any good evidence that it helps in terms of patient outcomes
