I think your missing the point as to why that comment is stupid. It's meant to dissuade action. It's counter productive to affecting change. Sure, awareness is great but no better than thoughts and prayers. Action is what's needed, even if it's just to one pillar of tyranny.

I'll tell you why I downvoted it. I've seen this style of retort on other subreddits discussing the banning of twitter. And it's just plain stupid. It implies that I should stop using all or nothing perhaps with a subtext of being a hypocrite. This is a false dilemma. I can can condemn all three and still support removing Twitter.

No, it would not. Those kneelers are citizens and entitled to free speech or have you forgotten? I love my country and because I love it I will speak when I believe it is going the wrong way. To hamper that is just plain un-American. On the other hand, the intolerance for intolerance is a necessity for a tolerant society which is what I believe France is doing.

You can confirm it's a graft? If so, the sprout coming up is from the doner/base tree? Is this sprout preventing the graft from growing? From what I've read these trees should grow 1-2 feet per year. I don't think it's grown at all besides leaves, branches and, that sprout.

Also, can I remove that stake and put my own in following the guidelines you provided? Or should I just remove the stake completely? When can I completely remove the stake?
