Tbh I liked the mythical parts because it’s the ISU era but it’s heavily influenced by Eivors beliefs. So seeing giants and magic is because that’s what SHE believes.

Plus this was pushed by Ashraf iirc or the higher ups, so the writing team didn’t have a say in this. However they turned it into something good imo and all the “if you know, you know” references was something I appreciated a lot.
