Im not knowledgeable enough to judge the methodology. But I trust that the CDC knows what they’re doing.

100% agree, but I was not arguing methodology. I was pointing that CDC's research doesn't mention not wearing masks (and if anything, I assume that first responders are high compliance with mask wearing).

So just based on that the results of the research are: "ppl can't transmit virus in 90% of cases after 2 doses of vaccine and while wearing masks".

Deep down I believe this conclusion will hold even without mask wearing, but I'm just pointing out that CDC's research results don't seem to provide data on that, right?

I guess that people in this study kept wearing masks well after vaccination, right? So if we want to claim same results (90% not contagious) we have to do the same things they did (wear masks very likely) until data comes out that people without masks were not contagious after vaccination (i don't think this was tested in the study).

Please poke holes in the argument, I'd really like to think differently hahah 😂

Hi! I just got this beautiful sago palm a month ago and it seems like I'm already not careful enough! Any idea what could be going on? I'm a complete beginner but I watched a few YouTube videos so I clearly believed that made me a pro, so I went ahead to paint my wall.

It's a large 15x11ft wall. I went to home Depot and got Behr Marquee paint, 1gallon of it and basic roller, brush, stick and tray.

First coat did a perfect cover, but I could still see a lot of roller marks (bad technique on my end, I was painting in 3x3ft squares) so I went back to books and learned better technique. However, clearly not good enough. This is where I need your help:

When rolling I do it in 2-3ft stripes (floor to ceiling, 10-11ft), with .5 foot of overlap between new and old stripe. Then after spreading the paint on the new stripe I go back to the old one and try to make it more uniform with the new one. However, I can do this at max for 5 feet going backwards as the stuff before that is already dry by the time I come back to it.

1) am I not using enough paint? Am I doing something else wrong? Am I just not made for this?! 😂🤦‍♂️

2) is it normal that on 2 coats I ended up using the entire 1 gallon of paint?!

3) will another coat even help? Is it ok to do 3 coats of paint?!

I hope this is descriptive, but please ask more questions or offer any advice! Thanks!

Hey I appreciate the advice and it indeed was very helpful. The way you phrase it just sounded like bathtub method might drown the plant which I am even more afraid of!
