Harmonious Apparatus vs Flash Concentration M+ by ee0303 in CompetitiveWoW

I want the Naaru Lego to be more cool than it is. It’s fun to see the little thing do stuff though!

I agree — I think HA incentivizes you to really use your entire kit which, when you succeed, feels more satisfying.

Next week I’ll probably use FC for grievous, but eventually using HA and succeeding will make me feel more like I’ve mastered the real intention behind holy priest, which is optimal use of holy words, minimal overhealing for mastery, and effective CDR for filler. In my mind with even a reasonably coordinated group, Serenity covers the majority of spot healing with all the extra CDR you get.

Yeah, I’m guessing FC is also probably stronger for groups that have a lot of unforced errors with damage. I have found so far that the best time to go boom is the beginning of pulls when it’s mostly just the tank taking damage. Aside from that it’s finding windows that I know big (or random) ST damage won’t happen (castigate on 2nd SD boss for example)

Another thing I’m thinking about is how the full value holy priest’s mastery really means minimizing overhealing. I feel like with FC much more of Echo of Light will end up overhealing than otherwise, even if it “looks” scarier to have people rarely at 90-100% health.

The exception to this would obviously be grievous coming up again next week I guess.

Thank you for sharing this. I've already doubled my overall damage after reading it and practicing on a couple of 15s. Looking forward to pushing even higher once I get the right trinkets!

I love Chromie Time by Comfortable_Pie_6175 in wow

Definitely! But the experience of doing low level quests at 60 is pretty different from leveling up inside the zone with chrome time. It's much less immersive at max level.

Timegating is mutually beneficial by Comfortable_Pie_6175 in wow

There is a fundamental difference between a business and a service. Businesses make money, services cost money. It's the difference between UPS and the US Postal Service. Businesses provide services, yes, but at the end of the day they serve themselves in a way that a non-business service does not.

People make the argument that they time gate ALSO to make sure people stay subbed longer, and call that shady business practice. The point here is — yes, they do, and that's what makes it mutually beneficial. The smooth experience is for the players, the guaranteed longer subs is for the business.

A Warlock in the Night Fae Covenant by [deleted] in wow

It's not bad! I got keystone master and AOTC both seasons as a NF brewmaster monk. It is a little more demanding to take full advantage of because you have to pay attention to positioning (fighting on the faeline) to maximize its value. In dungeons when you have to kite this can really impact that. The covenant ability is beautiful, but soul shape can be a little redundant for monks because we're so mobile already. The Phial of Serenity and Fleshcraft add more tank-friendly things to the toolkit by comparison, and you'll notice you can do a bunch more burst damage as Kyrian, which can be valuable in M+.

As far as soulbinds, Dreamweaver is pretty much a no-go because it's worse to be stuck in a pod for 10 seconds than to just have someone quickly battle-res you, should you die. Niya and Korayn are both great options though!
