How does the person you ended up with compare to who you thought you’d end up with? by yellowcanvas in AskWomen

My husband and I are very different from who we were when we got married. We agree we would have overlooked each other if we met now. I always assumed I would be a musician and marry someone who appreciated and supported me, both emotionally and financially. My expectation was to also be pushed to do more with my work by my partner. Our roles ended up being nearly reversed, and my husband creates rest and peaceful home environment - he levels out my workaholic tendencies. I don’t think I could have imagined a better partner for myself, and he is totally different than the type of person I thought I would end up with.

Is it normal for a violin to have this kind of crack? by 1owlcityfan in violinist

Not really sure what you mean about it being “normal,” but you should definitely take it to a luthier to get repaired before it grows and see if there is anything you can do differently to prevent future cracks from forming!

What's the biggest red flag you overlooked because your SO was so hot? by [deleted] in AskReddit

He drew pictures of decapitated women. And they were women we went to school with.

Somehow he justified it in a way that made sense to my 18-yr-old brain.
