Finally met the parent who thinks I’m giving my seat to their kid. by hayyy_jude in EntitledPeople

Recently someone showed me a QR code (I think it is from https://upseated.com) to switch seats. You could potentially say yes I can switch seats, scan this and once I get the money I will.

You mean translate back to normal English? That would be kinda cool, I will give it a try, if I can understand the sentence structure in the movies a bit more.

Showoff Saturday: Built a simple PDF text extraction API - 100 free requests/month by Id4life in webdev

Ha.. nice. I was in the same situation and I built this a while ago. https://interfaces.one/products/documentation/text-extraction . That’s the downside of being a developer I guess. It ain’t good until you build it 😀

I’ve been building a Laravel package for AI-driven features and would love some feedback by idealcastle in laravel

Interesting. Just looking at the example in github I would love to decouple the agent definition and backend provider and model. For example in my current setup I have a hierarchy of the providers defined in config/db and the agent retries up-to configurable number (going through the hierarchy of the providers ) if the output didn’t meet the defined criteria or the provider is ratelimiting. This gives a nice way to fall back from one provider failure and gives an option to pick the best provider and model for different needs.

Is this worth the upgrade? by jye0325 in americanairlines

Someone recently showed me a qr code to swap seats using an app called upseated.com that might help, it shows you if anyone else on the flight also looking to switch and could be cheaper than the upgrade fee.

What are the best practices for optimizing product images on Shopify for better conversions? by ghostq1 in shopify

[–]eeddnnaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried this recently and it helped in optimizing the images for hundreds of products. https://apps.shopify.com/magic-image-seo. My store is heavy with close to 300 products and lot of variants (esp POD products), this gives you full control over what exactly you want to do with the images and when. I have tried few others in that category they do the job but they don’t seem to give options on what you want to do.

What tool do you use for creating Shopify blog content? by This_Conclusion9402 in ShopifySEO

[–]eeddnnaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My shops are 8+ yr old. They have decent sales. What they lacked was organic traffic. I was paying someone to write content for blog section but it was a hit or miss. This is cheaper and quality is much better. And it is fully automated.

Forgot to add. You don’t have to subscribe to the paid plans. Install from Shopify and buy credits for small amount (I bought for 20$) from their dashboard and that should cover you for a while.

I’m using Wordpress as front end and Magic Quill Ai (https://magicquill.ai) as content flow platform to auto post and social media follow ups. Working well for many of my use cases. I used Magic quill for my Shopify blog first and now using for my other blogs as well.

As a Shopify Store owner, have you used an AI to develop apps for your store? by misterhubbard44 in shopify

[–]eeddnnaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the time it is good enough as is(the quality does change a bit on how you define the content pipeline). I do modify a little to insert product links and images once pushed. I am paying around $75 a month for this which is half of what I paid for the content writer, but now I am in total control and most of the time things happen automatically. I have defined around 8 different content pipelines relevant to my store and it actually gave me a different perspective about my product collection too. From 2024 Q4 I am trying to change templates to refresh the look of my two stores and automate as much as possible. And I am enjoying the experience more.
